    Default Why are there payout holds in some books?

    Why do some books like Betphoenx, BetJamaica, Carib, 5Dimes, etc. have 14 to 30 day holds before a payout can be requested if you use a CC or *******? Then there are other books who don't have holds on CC deposits like Legends and DSI? Are the holds just a ploy to keep my money longer?

    DSI is located on Costa Rica and Legends in Panama, could that be the reason where are the others located??

    Yes acarmelo they are located in Jamaica. Montego Bay that is.

    Does it have anything to do with giving enough time to see if it was a stolen/fraudulent card? Might take some poor slob several days to report a card lost/stolen or to see unauthorized activity on his account.

    I would think that is a factor.

    the ******* hold doesn't make any sense at 5dimes, if you fund it with ** or **, then is just a cash transfer

    i use prepaid ** at bjam, its treated like cash;; no hold;; they tried to hold but i reminded the manager that they recommended this deposit method and said it was like cash, they said 'our mistake' and removed the hold
