    not sure how you can say Texas AM "killed it". great comeback, but they were 13.5 favs and they were getting destroyed at one point...but i agree, SEC is much better.

    Also, LSU isn't "killing" little Iowa either.

    LSU hasnt allowed iowa to reach the 50 almost all game, they are missing their starting quarterback today also

    the only time iowa has been on this side of the field due to offensive play is right now


    as for A&M the comeback was big, they have a putrid defense and for them to put up 52 points in a comeback win vs an above average team is good enough for me

    The SEC is the best conference but they always do well in New Year's Day bowls because they play the lowly Big 10.

    Barely beating Duke and Iowa and losing to Nebraska wasn't that impressive.

    Let's see. LSU fails to cover. A&M fails to cover. Georgia loses outright. South Carolina wins and covers. Both Mississippi's win and cover. 3-3 if you are wagering on the SEC so far.

    The Pac 12 has Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, USC, UCLA, and Arizzona all won and covered. Wazzu and Arizona State both lost and failed to cover. 6-2 if you wagered on the Pac 12 teams.

    You tell me which is the best conference from a gamblers point of view.

    Obviously the SEC is the best conference but the difference isn't as great as people would have you believe.

    The reason the SEC has won all of the recent titles is because they have had the two best coaches in the Nation. Saban and Meyer. Hell, Les Miles road Saban's coattails to a chip at LSU after Saban departed and left him a ton of talent. Saban built LSU.

    You could pretty much say that Saban and Meyer are responsible for 6 of those championships.

    Also, the SEC gets favorable bowl matchups against Big 10 teams and the games are played in the South. I would like to see an SEC team go play some one like Oregon or Stanford on the Westcoast...Michigan State or Ohio State in like Detroit...etc.

    - A&M is supposed to be one of the best teams in the SEC and they gave up 48 points to Duke and barely won. Duke won't be ranked.
    - LSU is supposed to be a top SEC team and they beat an unranked Iowa team by 7.
    - Georgia, a perennial SEC power loses to unranked Nebraska.
    - South Carolina soundly defeats a solid Wisconsin team.

    So in the last four SEC bowl games the SEC is 1-3 ATS with one impressive win. Today really showed nothing.

    a&m never had a defense all year .. duke has a decent offense and that team isnt that bad

    lsu is a top sec team but they were missing their quarterback for this game .. they might have put up 35 points today if they had him

    georgia same exact thing .. no qb

    Actually the "Independents" have the best bowl winning percentage this year with Navy and Notre Dame each wining and covering their games, so that makes the SEC #2
