Looking for odds on the Kuwait-Brazil soccer game and the only online bookie which actually has prices for it is ... mansion!!

Im quite suprised (somehow I had imagined that such books would basically follow Euro books but its is clearly not the case).

Anyway, the question is .... if I joined one of the books at the top of SBR, what are the chances I would have to go through an ID parade to cash out? Would it make any difference if I used moneybookers or some specific form of funding the account?

Just I do now want to have to buy a scanner just to get my (inevitable) winnings.

If you deposit money from your checking account into your Neteller account using InstaCash, it will become available instantly and it comes with an 8.9% fee. But the way to do this for free is to go to your gambling site and deposit using InstaCash method (you'll be asked to enter last 4 digits of your checking account). Most gambling sites will cover those fees (Pinnacle charges 5%).

If you deposit money into your Neteller account using EFT, it takes 4-5 days, is free but only available to US and canadians.

InstaCash is the best bet and most gambling sites will cover the fees or a good portion of it (check on their site) but the currency has to be in US or canadian $. See if the exchange is worth it for you. Remember that the currency exchange rate will be imposed on both transfers, deposit and withdraw.

You might be better off opening a bank account in US currency and register that account to Neteller in order to save on those transfers.

natrass - you can deposit £s into Barclays bank IIRC and send it to your Neteller account which gets converted into $s. Otherwise you can load by a CC but you get hit with hefty charges.

IIRC = if i remember correctly...

And it's neteller who jack on the fees and it's the sportsbook who either have to absorb them or pass some/all of the cost back onto you. If you send money by regular neteller to a book, the full amount will appear on your balance but neteller will charge the book a % amount.

For instance, matchbook charge an upfront 2.9% for all neteller deposits (although they do refund this with commission credits).

Yes Natrass, 8.9% is a lot. I never pay it, using InstaCash every time but I didn't know this option was only available for North America. Maybe you should look into Eco card.

Neteller took over most of the market when PayPal let go of this industry. My guess is the gambling companies are happy with the 'no charge back' option. Players must like the security in using Neteller. I know I do.

Natrass, if the book you want to deposit in supports the Moneybookers it's a good option. The fees for depositing from and to your bank account are small and they have lots of internet banking options for instant deposits for Europeans (0.5€ fee for me)

The rules on sending ID's should be the same as with Neteller. They're both internet wallets anyway.

I have my Neteller account in € currency and when receiving $ they take a conversion fee. I once got a withdrawal in $ that should have been 745€. Balance in neteller was 724€ after the conversion fee. Moneybookers doesn't charge fees of currency conversions.

Neteller is probably the best option for you Americans but it might get a bit expensive for some of us Europeans with all the fees.
