It was the obvious call. If coaches weren't afraid of math illiterate sports media figures and retarded fan base, you would see many more 4th down attempts from various field positions.

If you go back to every final 2 minute comeback in the history of the NFL, the losing team would have won more often if they had gone for that 4th down instead of punting it to the winning team.
