Default Ricky Williams Would Have 1500 Yards If He Was A Feature Back

Might be best combo of strength and speed right now, the layoff had to help him. He looks very good.

    Disagree

Ricky is not an every down feature back

He takes too much of a pounding

Hilliard ran well..he had some major success in the pre season and may help out

If Ricky plays too much he wont last 2 more games

there was a play tonight when he broke lose over the middle that the LB delivered a vicious blow to his ribs I am sure he is feeling as I type

It is great to have him

Never envisioned that watching him at Texas and in New Orleans we would have him...not to mention the injurys like when that steeler stepped on him in a monday night game and the weed problems

what shocked me is I am not sure Pat White even played a down unless it was when I went to fridge or checked Col-Ok St score

Looked good tonight, but will be interested to see if he can handle the workload in the coming weeks.

He is very strong still, might be stronger than Jacobs of Giants

He also could still turn the corner which is amazing

Miami will come back next Sunday with the 2 back system with Hilliard playing a much bigger role than he did on thursday night. They both will used in the wildcat, with ricky running the show.

not sure how long youve liked the dolphins but in his golden days 5-6 years ago he was the best back. Carried it 30+ times a game and played every game of the season knicked up or not. Hes durable and is still a top notch back

I dont think ricky will actually spear head the WK outside of a few direct snaps he may run or hand off on a reverse

his hands are not nimble enough for the constant ball exchange in his hands..

and he comes from the garo yepremien school of -passing

Strange how Pat White did not play

they musta thought carolina defense would give him issues and had shitty starting field position most of the night except for early devon best punt return

Does not have the wear and tear a player his age should have.

loved them ever since I sat down in front of a tv and watched em lose the super bowl to cowboys in 71

this has nothing to do with my opinion on ricky

really ????5-6 years ago he carried 30 times agame???..and played every game??

no offense but I do not believe that to be true..let me check, mate

I 100% agree. The man was a machine when he won the RB player of the year a few years ago. He WAS the entire offence that year. He was off for a few years, "finding himself" and now hes back, lean and clean. They say at the beginning of the season he was down around 30 pounds, but he sure looks like hes bulked back up. I personally think that even though people say that hes old for a back, he had those few years off, so his body still has some mileage left (as proven so far this year...) Yes, I think he can handle the workload, The linemen in front of him are doing a fantastic job of opening holes, which he didnt really have a few years ago. RUN RICKY RUN!
