Exclamation Brock Lesnar 'in really bad shape' in hospital

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND–UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is seriously ill in hospital after collapsing in Canada, UFC president Dana White said Saturday.

"He's in rough shape, he's in really bad shape," White said Saturday after UFC 105.

"He is not well and he is not getting any better. ... He's very, very sick and he's going to be out for a while. He's got a lot of problems."

Another big and extreme type guy bites the dust. Why be shocked, the more you do as an athlete and the longer you stay in the game, the earlier you die.Name me one huge, tall, bulked up guy that stayed a long time in sports who lived to be a senior citizen or just 62 to collect his first social ''ist''security check? Now it's past bankrupted Jabar that's going to croak at a young age.I can understand guys like Wilt having to stay in basketball forever to collect checks because the pay wasn't good back then. For any of these guys like Shaq to keep playing it's stupid. Why don't they reign in their excessive spending and quit knocking up a broad in every NBA city and maybe getting out at 26 with 20 million bucks would let them live past 60.F&ck the hall of fame and pleasing your gang of yes men and hanger onners. No one gives a rats ass care about these guys and they are too stupid to know it.When a kid gets their autograph he hopes that they kill themselves so the autograph is worth more money.

I hope this is not true. I love watching this guy fight. When he fights it reminds me of when Tyson would fight and all the buzz in the air. I hope he gets better and we get a Fedor vs Lesnar fight sometime in 2011.

    Just saw this article on-line.

UFC champ Lesnar has bacterial infection

By James Macpherson, Associated Press Writer

BISMARCK, N.D. -- UFC President Dana White said Monday that heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is recovering from a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract.

"He's in stable condition and should be released soon," UFC President Dana White said.

Asked if Lesnar was in a Bismarck hospital, White said, "I think he is," but did not want to say which hospital because he wanted to protect Lesnar's privacy.

White said he is encouraging Lesnar to check into the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., for further treatment. He also said he did not know if the 32-year-old South Dakota native will fight again.

"It depends on how serious this is," White said.

Bismarck's St. Alexius hospital said Lesnar was not a patient there. The other hospital in the city, Medcenter One, would not confirm or deny he was there.

Lesnar, who grew up on a dairy farm in Webster, S.D., is a former wrestler at Bismarck State College. He lives in Alexandria, Minn.
