Default The NJ Nets this year may be the worst NBA team ever assembled

I took them for the first time this year a small play +15 1/2 knowing nothing about them, tied at halftime I still lost the bet

This team blows so badly its unreal who the fuk are these morons, looks like they blew the team's payroll in Vegas and went down to the YMCA and said any of you guys want to be in the NBA

Not sure if this team will win a game this year

They are just trying to get cap space for their move to Brooklyn.

As a Net fan here is my take:

They are not as bad as they are playing right now. Keep in mind they have been playing with 8-9 players for a majority of the year. They have kept it close early in most games against some good teams (Nuggets, Magic, Boston, etc) but have just been worn down late. The injuries include Tony Battie, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Devin Harris, Yi Jianlin, and Courtney Lee. Those are five guys who you need to contribute and 3 starters. They have a good core with Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Terrance Williams, Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee, and CDR. They are not a great team but they are young and scrappy enough to sneak into the playoffs with a below .500 record. However, after these injuries it will be hard to accomplish that. They are a few pieces away from contending. They got the new Russian owner who is willing to throw money all over the place and fund this move to Brooklyn and make a strong push for LeBron. I don't think LeBron could still come to New Jersey. It would be appealing to be associated with Jay-Z and moving to Brooklyn and he can play with a good young core of Lopez-Harris-Williams and himself. It all depends on what LeBron wants to do. Does he want so build his own shitty team up in NJ, stay loyal to Cle, or go somewhere to win a championship? They aren't as bad as the record indicates.

CDR played the whole game, Terrance Williams blows, Alston cant succeed on this team, if the best you can come up with is Devin Harris is injured then I assure you they simply fukin suk

Thank you, I was going to make a post like this!

Big Net fan here as well, and worst team every assembled? Teams go through this stage ALL the time.

We have our best player out, half the team is injured. Relax.

I'll believe how good they are if they ever get win a game or at least lose a game within single digits

Even though the Timberwolves beat the Nets by 2 at home, the Wolves in my opinion are the worse team with the least amount of talent.

CDR played the whole game with H1N1. This wasn't directed as much to last nights game as the season as a whole. To say Terrance Williams blows is moronic. Terrance Williams is the perfect player to succeed in the NBA as a very good role player. He handles the ball well, passes it well, can score, and is starting to learn how to rebound in the NBA. Alston won't succeed as the starting PG but when Harris comes back he can succeed as a 2 guard.

    @ Magic (42-42 at half)...lost by 16
    vs 76ers (40-43 at half)...lost by 3
    vs Celtics (40-39 at half)...lost by 10
    @ 76ers (47-50 at half)...lost by 3
    vs Nuggets (51-50 at half)...lost by 28
    @ Bobcats (41-33 at half)...lost by 11
    vs Magic (44-50 at half)...lost by 10

The point? When you play with 8-9 players suited up this is bound to happen. Plus look at the points totals. The team can play defense. They gave up over 100 just twice and under 90 5 times in 9 games. They will get their fair share of wins. When Courtney Lee and Devin Harris can suit up things will be a bit better. As of right now this is probably a 30 win team.

I have the nets as the worst simply because they haven't won but they've been injured

once they get a tad more healthy the knicks will takeover as the 30th best NBA team

Two weeks into the season and already 7.5 games behind Boston. Wow!

Well a lot of people are injuried and they lost their best player who got drafted to the Magic which is Vince Carter. I am guessing they traded Carter for Alston. They really don't have any all stars on the team. They lose Vince Carter and 2 years ago Jason Kidd. Hope fully they will get Lebron James since he is cool with Jay-Z and looks like it might happen.

Unreal the knicks. I foolishly bet them the other day against the Hawks on the ML and +6.5. I tune in at 2nd half and Knicks are up 10 or so. It took two minutes of watching these idiots to realize my money was as good as gone.

Nets are not that bad, lost some close ones. First win is around the corner. I wonder what Jay Z is thinking...

Only players worth a damn on the Nets team is Devin " I don't play " Harris and Brooke " Potential " cough 1/12 vs Magic Lopez.

Rafer can sometimes bring it but he plays the same position as Harris so I reckon they should trade him.

I couldn't have said it any better. The worst team is the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Nets in Miami at half down 40-38. This team has played well in the first half all year. Lets see if they can only lose by 10.

Wade hits a 3 with .1 seconds left to give the Heat a 1 point win vs the Nets. Tough lose for the Nets who took the lead with 4 seconds left.

Another game where they play ok and lose. A lot of the games seem to be close.

I didn't see the game, but I heard D-Wade shot a 3 to win it. What a heartbreaker for the Nets. But they did cover, I say keep riding the Nets pointspread until they grab a win. They are so desperate they should cover...

Watch it on the highlights. He bobbled the ball, slipped, and got off a 3 with a hand right in his face. Sick play by a sick man.
