As a self proclaimed aficionado of "the beautiful game" I just dont get what is the attraction of these second rate sports, no wonder its just the Yanks and a few Asians who play these games

Chase ball (rugby)

Sports are all about chasing, hitting, kicking, catching balls. That's what makes it fun.

Your condescending attitude towards Americans is not going to positively contribute to this forum (I am not American). Is my spelling ok?
