I played wide receiver and defensive back until I was 30. I am 38 now. I keep in great shape and still do drills with my kids I coach. There is a huge drop off from my last competitive yr. in the AFL at 30 until now even though I still do all of that stuff. I don't care how fast someone is, they cannot outrun Father Time. I still go to Division 1 practices at SEC schools all of the time. I see LBers and TEs that could out run me now. Dallas Clark who is an elite NFL pass catching TE would dust me and I would bet at -2000 odds I would dust Fishhead at his age. Unless Fishead ran a 2.9 40 yd dash back in high school, there is no way he can now outrun Clark who out runs world class athletes in the NFL every Sunday. There is a reason that guys like LT aren't the backs they used to be.
