very far from a lock in my opinion. I was going to take Cleveland ML at +115....but over lunch it jumped to -105. I lost my value play.

Be careful, after getting bounced in the playoffs last year by Orlando you know Cleveland circled this game as soon as they got their schedule. Win or Lose you will see the best Cavs team you will see all year tonight.

Still no Rashard Lewis and possibly a banged up Vince Carter. How O'Neal handles Howard inside seems crucial (and I still haven't seen any data on their matchups). Revenge was also mentioned. I'm not taking a side, for no other reason than Orlando has looked beastly at home this year, but I can't pull the trigger on the Magic either.

Same as the Boston game. They got embarrassed.

I really think something is rigged with this game. Orlando at home should at least be a 4 to 6 points favorite. Cleveland has not looked good at all. Their Defense has been bad and Lebron is still carrying the load. I don't see any value with Cleveland at all. Orlando should be the pick but I am staying away seems to easy!

Thinking about this more... I'm not liking Ryan Anderson being out. And I wonder how Dwight will react to the Cavs 3 C's... Z, Varejou, and Shaq... But the home team usually wins in these big matchups... So I still like Orlando.

I'm a Cleveland fan, so I won't bet on this game, but I would lean towards Cleveland here. Orlando cause all sorts of problems for the Cavs last year because they were able to run a 3/4 pick and roll with Hedo and Rashard. This stretches the floor and pressures the Cavs one weak spot on defense, they can't cover a shooting 4. If Anderson were healthy, I'd have some concerns, but he's out tonight. That means that Orlando's normal advantages are gone. Howard will certainly score some on Shaq, but who cares? Howard still isn't a dominant offensive player. Anyone who really knows basketball can see that he has NO offensive moves. He's got all the athleticism in the world, but no moves. Jameer Nelson is overrated and Carter isn't 100% yet. The Cavs have a better team than last year once the pieces get worked into place and I think this will be the first game where it starts to happen.

I cannot take Cavs after Orlando clearly was better last year and better this year.

Then you do not truly understand basketball. Orlando was NOT a better team last year. The Cavs would have given the Lakers a much better fight. However, the NBA Playoffs come down to matchups, and Orlando matched up incredibly well against Cleveland because of their nontraditional forwards (Hedo and Rahsard Lewis). Hedo is now gone, Rashard is still suspended, and Ryan Anderson is injured, negating this advantage that Orlando had. Furthermore, Orlando has yet to show any inclination to play defense this year.

Williams, I like your analysis a lot. That, and the sharp money moving the line, result in me backing the Cavs. Let's go, Cleveland!

Cavs are the play here. Magic played last night and Williams22 is right about magic team being absent of the players that created so many problems for the cavs last year in playoffs. add in the fact that Cavs are rested and throw in the revenge factor and THIS IS THE TEAM THE CAVS GOT SHAQ FOR so you know they will give MAX effort.
