Default is it just me? Or the steelers a lock to repeat this year

this team really dominated every game this year. The 2 games they lost, they should of won. Big Ben is coming in his own. Tomlin has this team motivated. In a big game, who do you want to be on? Steelers just find ways to win. And in the AFC playoffs, who can beat them? New England, Colts? I just think the steelers know how to win these big games, and are ready to repeat.
When they beat the Bengals this week, they will probably end up getting a #2 seed in the AFC. If they do have to travel to Indy in the playoffs, I can't see the Colts beating them, even at home. And in the superbowl, I would think the Saints/Vikings would give them their best challenge, but yet again, I would take the Steelers in that game.

Is there anyone giving a 10-1 future on the Steelers, because in all honesty, this is a gift.

I been seening 10-1 the past couple of weeks on them, and I just never pulled the trigger

You got a worry about Cincy, Colts, Pats, and Chargers. The AFC is up for grabs this season. It is too early to tell.

honestly, i think Pitt is a lock to win the AFC- there is no team there in that list that could beat them in a playoff game.

You are crazy if you think they are un beatable. Pats find ways to win as well, like at heinz field a few years ago. Also colts can score at will if necessary. Kind of silly calling this a lock

I'll bet you all your pts that they don't repeat.

OK...it is just you... I did bet against the steelers for the first time in a few years...and lose... But stopping Mendenhal... is not impossible...and a team that can cover the pass...will shut them down in the playoffs sorry...send me 7 points anyways for luck.

You are probably right and that was most likely a homer pick on my part. My point is every team has their flaws this year, and the title is prety much up for grabs.

way too early to tell Stiller's have given away winnable gimme games, so I can't put any confidence in them just yet

I don't like em, but they are peaking now. They will be a major threat in the playoffs.

Steelers are by far the best team. They are even better than last year. Go Steelers!

if steelers win again im going to throw up. they have to be one of the luckiest teams ever. they should have lost to zona last year and seattle before that but the refs made sure they won

Not sure they are "lucky" they are prob top 2 or 3 in winning % this decade

So when you look at all those stats, you see lucky? You're must drunk or just delusional.

Considering the Steelers lost by a total of 6 points. They sound pretty good. Of course the Colts haven't lost yet.

Of course im being a hater cause those 2 games didnt have any questionable calls did they. Sure they are a great team without question but lets look at things straight.

    Nothing's a lock. meh.

The Steelers are in the mix, but so is half of the AFC. It's too early to get a good view of the picture this early. Wait until after Thanksgiving to see who is still serious.

as a cincy fan it pains to say I agree, not a lock obviously, but a twist tie. The stealers will make the playoffs and thats scary opponent for anyone. Not only do they find ways to win(refs), they have guys who have done it twice now. Id love to see pit/cin matchup in the first round of playoffs. Pit was fortunate to make it out in 05.

I think it's quite a stretch to say they dominated Tennessee, Chicago, Minnesota or - gulp - Detroit.....!

But they do look a good team that might have been playing within themselves and can "bring it" when really needed.

Typical overreaction to one game. There's too much football to be played.

Steelers always seem to have a great balance of level headed aggressive vets who know how to win and be professional about it, and up and coming, hungry rookies with great talent.

I think they're frequently underrated as far as championship odds.

Agree with all the above, except the Chargers. Chargers playing in Denver in two weeks. That game will have great significance in who's going to win the AFC WEST. I really like the Pats though, with that big time game experience billicheat and Brady will bring to the table

Looking forward to the Cincy game this week - if Bengals win all they need to do is beat Cleveland to be 6-0 in the division, will be tough for Steelers to catch them for the division, never mind Super Bowl.

I have a couple of futures going at BETJM with them. I got them at 16 to 1 and 12 to 1. But not for nearly as much money as i wanted. Then I really wanted to unload on the 10 to 1 odds, but just never did it. I am super confident Pitt wins the AFC. I can always hedge in the superbowl- so I am not worried about any NFC team right now (that time will come). But as far as the AFC goes, they are the class. If Pitt can somehow find a way to get the #1 seed in the AFC playoffs, then its over. But the fact still remains the same, against the Colts, Pats, Chargers, or whoever you want to throw at them in the AFC, the Steelers will beat in the playoffs. I just hope they run the table and finish 14-2 or 13-3 and get a #1 seed. Colts will end up going 13-3 as well , and Pats will end up going 11-5. This steelers team reminds me of a horse race. They already won the breeders cup, and now are going back to defend this year. The Pats and Colts maybe the "hot picks" but when it comes down to it, class and experience will prevail. Plus it doesnt hurt having the best jockey around (AKA BIG BEN) to ride you home!
