    Talking Sportsinteraction

Haven't read any recent problem reports about them lately.

I still use them, back in the fall they screwed up an EFT to my bank account for $1700+ but eventually they figured out the mistake and I was paid in full PLUS $100 deposited into my poker account with no requirements to fulfill.

Free EFT's (Citadel) and good numbers on dogs keep me playing there. Plus I seem to do ok at their poker site.

I know some players here don't like them but I've been with them for a while now and other than the one glitch it has been smooth sailing.

I decided to post this after checking my Forum mailbox and realize I didn't respond to emails from SIA and Bill Dozer that were sent in Sept.

Since I was quick to post here about the problem I was having with SIA, I think it's only fair to post when they treat me well.

SIA for the most part is very good, large customer base also, great looking software, good dog lines.

SIA is a good book for the recreation players only.

I played there a couple years back and really never had problems with their payouts but I once had a problem with a wager I put in but it really was my error because I was not use to their software... Not a good book for pros though but they do have good dog lines... All my payouts were wire...

SIA was my first book so it hold some sentimental value for me. I try other books every now and then to get a good bonus or a good line, but I always gravitate back to my roots. I'm glad their still servicing worldwide. They've got their problems, as every book does, but their an institution in this biz for the recreational niche they service. I hope they stick it our for the long haul.

I hear a lot of bad things about them....but truth be told the book has been operating for over 10 years now and has one of the largest clientales out there with a strong financial backing. Either the customers are all going to get hosed or all the problems we hear about tend to be isolated incidents that get reported vociferously by posters....Yes there are problems but it seems more times than not, SIA management is able to resolve the problems. But yes the problems are concerns and I do wish there were less.

Admittedly, I've been playing their for some time now and have never had a single problem so perhaps I am a biased but until something disasterous happens I can't say they are a bad outfit....

I used them last summer, and never had any problems with them. When I found sbr, I then switched to using Cris, and Bet Jam.

You can quite easily replace "SIA" with "BetRoyal" in that post. And that's not good.

They still slowpayed quite severely when the US legislation was announced. 2 weeks of pathetic excuses for most players. Whereas the likes of pinny, Greek etc simply paid immediately showing the kind of financial flex behind them which SIA clearly don't have.

anyone else having issues with wire withdrawals from sports interaction. I have been waiting over a month. first they said I gave them incorrect bank details (they were correct) and that i had to wait 10 days for them to get the funds back from the processor. So i gave them a different account number from a different bank. That was about 10 days ago. still have not seen anything.

For some reason SIA screws with Europeans on occasion but has been better with Americans. This info goes back to before the Kyle bill so I'm not sure what's happening now.

Great golf odds especially on majors.

Has anyone ever figured where this Indian tribe on the New York-Quebec border runs this sportsbook at?They really aren't supposed to be doing that and they better watch out for Hillary getting the feds to raid this place.hehe! There are lots of really cheap cartons of cigarettes online from up that way too that must piss off the politicians.

I just did a wire transfer a week ago. The money was in my account in 4 business days. SIA is a good book even for larger wagers.

PS - I think they have one of the best layouts/software setup!

SIA is run by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission in Quebec, Canada. Both the Canadian and Quebec government claim it is illegal but they will do nothing to stop this. Many of us Canadians remember the Oka crisis from nearly 20 years ago, and believe me, no government is going to challenge this Indian tribes authortiy in this region. There is no danger of the "feds" from either country raiding this place.

UPDATE- I received payment today (over 7K) from SIA. Not really sure why it took so long.....May not have been their fault.

What amounts would they let you wager?

I can only bet $500 max at SIA.

A raid by the US Government on Canadian soil would be interesting, however I doubt this would happen.

Kahnawake Quebec is south of Montreal

Couldn't agree more...There seems to be no greater fear amongst the government (Provincial or Federal) than the spectre of another Oka type situation, or anything even remotely close to it. The Caledonia land dispute last year is another example of how tenuous relations remain. Basically, the Feds wouldn't touch SIA with a 10 mile pole. Just far, far too much to lose and not nearly enough to gain.

They are very aggressive on confiscating accounts also. If you and a roommate/housemate both have accounts, don't expect to receive your winnings.

    Why would you say that?

They hang good lines, they've been around for a while, and they are one of the few books that still pay out. Your right, they must be crappy

I agree, they pay. It seems as though there are a lot of SIA detractors at SBR.

I've been with them for a few years now and always got paid. Their site works well and has a nice looking, clean layout.

Just got paid by them today...Withdrew last Friday and in my bank account Thursday. I am seeing a lot of complaints from the A+ books...

SIA is still holding their own....despite some problems.

Still a solid book, been around 10+ years, financially secure, good customer service, and is still paying. Can't ask for much more than that these days.

    gamblingprincess,

I have extremely high standards and have some friends that have been given the run around by SIA...never have they been stiffed, but bad communication and they slow pay...granted, our choices aren't as numerous as they were a year ago, but I just wouldn't post up with these guys...

    Canadian deposit/withdrawal options at Sportsinteraction:

They are now using a different processor for their *************** withdrawals (Citadel not doing gaming transactions anymore), you are allowed one free *************** withdrawal per calendar month.

For deposits they offer "Use My Bank" which utilizes the Interac network, funds are immediately transferred from your bank account, and there are no holds, waiting times etc.
I beleive the limit is $1000 per transaction for deposits. Cost is $1.50 per $1000. The only limit is you have to use one of the big 5 banks (RBC, TD, Scotia, CIBC, BMO or Desjardins Credit Union).
