    Default Suns - Sixers

It appears this is a rare game where the road team actually travelled less than the home team last night. Suns took a short bus ride from Washington to Philly for tonight's game and Sixers took a long flight from Detroit after playing a physical game with Detroit.

I think Suns will be the fresher team in the 1H.

I like Suns 1H and Suns for the game.

I have to go with the hot and better team. And who have the 76ers beat that was good? That team hasn't prove anything yet. After the Suns beat Boston and Miami away you have to go with the Suns to win. And the 76ers struggled with the Nets and Knicks, they don't finish off teams. And the Suns are relentless they keep attacking.

And Joe Public is all over the Suns because of this reasoning.

    Sixers will win this game.

Sixers shot 3-18 3pt and 1-16 3pt versus Pistons and Celtics. Suns have been shooting around 50% from 3pt on this road trip.

Yep, and all good things must come to an end. The line opened up with the Sixers -1 despite the Suns doing everything except solve the economic crisis. Line has moved to Sixers +2 because the whole world including Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and Usama Bin Laden are on the Suns.

If the Suns win I'll give you 50 of my points.

I was leaning on Philly tonight, but I'm surprised so many other people appear to be backing them as well. Makes me a little nervous, to be honest.

I may just parlay the Sixers and Knicks ML, Utah sucks on the road even worse than the Knicks suck at home.

Logical thinking Pavy! But what happens if those 2 % fall back to what they should be? After losing on the Jags as my only play on Sunday (other than tailing Sammy on the Suns) I don't know what to think! As much as I respect your opinion ans Sammy's on the NBA, I might just say WTF and take the +2 points? I did say I lost on the Jags right!!

Suns last two opponents shot 4-16 and 4-18 from 3pt.

Philly is a half-court team ... the under is the play. Their plan HAS TO BE to run the shot clock to under 10 every time on offense to try and limit the fast paced Suns offense. For that reason alone, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the UNDER.

Think I may parlay this one ... Suns / Under

Pavy I respect your opinion. I do believe in this case the sixers are the play just like i took charlotte against atlanta on friday. Suns are doing very well and sixers look like crap so that means suns seem to be the play but i think the books are luring in suns backers and i really think philly wins this game comfortably.

I will be on this one with you Lake! Let's make that Philly money!

Pass. Suns are very good early on. And the bench is scrappy, which tends to throw off the opposing team because the starters are run 'n gun, and because previous versions of the Suns didn't have this depth.

But Iguadala and Brand bring a lot of size that should translate into easy points in the paint. In their previous game without rest the Suns looked tired in the 2H. Hill didn't show up at all, and Nash didn't have it late. Not the best spot to bet on the Suns, but they could definitely pull it out. They're easily the better team.

Barbosa is back. It will balance the scoring when the starters are resting.

i have a feeling the sportsbooks put the line at philly-1 because of the recent stumbles of the good teams (hawks, wizards) that lost on road in charlotte and indiana respectively. You guys are over thinking this game. Suns are soooo much better and Elton Brand and Dalembert have sucked over the last 2 games. Although the 76'ers have won both games following a loss I just do not see them winning this game vs. a high tempo fast teamed high scoring suns offense. Suns win big here...no joke....you guys are overthinking this game!

and Lakerboy....please respond as to how you took dallas last night so big? eagles should have won that game....u know it....eagles had that horrible overturn of possesions on that 4th down challenge review. How they didn't call it a first down I do not know.....lakerboy did u pay the refs to have that call go in dallas's favor???

Brakon I was on the cowboys large last night since the beginning of the week. Just look at my cowboys in nfc title game thread I called it earlier during the week. I know that game was tough for you to lose but I wish I had contact with refs.

Pass on this game, at least up front. The Suns have scored no less than 100 points in a game this year, and the Sixers defense is marginally better than the Suns' (101 & 104 ppga respectively). Even a tired Suns team will not be shut down by them completely. That means for Philadelphia to win this game, they're probably going to have to score 100+ points.

The Suns' biggest strength this year has actually been their bench, who have had a positive +/- in 5 of 7 games, with 4 of those being +28 or better. Even when they don't score much, the Suns bench has been playing well and has been able to maintain a lead so their opponents rarely catch periods of overtired Suns players on the floor. It's a difficult situation for even a strong defensive team to handle (Miami & Boston) when the Suns just keep on coming and never let up. For this reason, the Suns have won 6 of 7 2Hs so far this year.

I think if you're a Suns backer, the strongest play is no play before the game. Wait for 2H, or take advantage of the game being available for live betting.

Suns win... ride the Suns while their hot. Their confusing the bookies. It seems like the 76ers can only beat the average teams. But I have to say the Suns is one of the top 4 teams in the West. It will be good seeing them go against the Nuggets, Lakers (with Gasol), San Antonio, and even Portland.

Suns 2H prevails again (won 7 out of 8 this year). Unfortunately, poor internet kept me from hitting it today so I have to just eat the Sixers ML loss...
