Default I thought, "Maybe we need one more thread on Iowa football"

Because clearly Fish's 5 Iowa threads aren't enough.

Two things you can't get enough of.

    Jello.

    Iowa Football threads.

What can I offer here? Ohhh, I have one.

Outside of Fish, and the 900 farmers who watch Iowa football games, does anyone really follow Iowa football?

Considering that Iowa year in and year out plays in the largest soldout stadiums in the country, are on national TV every week, and have been considered as one of the top travel teams in the entire country by bowl committee chairmans for the past 30 years..............may take is that quite a few people follow Iowa football.

Iowa is on national tv every week?

    LOL.

    Really?

    Explain.

I would assume you are using ESPN's use of Big 10 games in your statement, right? If you do---then even Minnesota and Northwestern can say the same.

Historically, Iowa is a tad bit more than a .500% program.

In the last 50 years they have finished in the top 10-----exactly 3 times. 2002, 2003, and 2004---which is almost half the number of the vaunted Kansas State program.

So, let's keep things in perspective when it comes to Iowa football.

They are a .500% program with half the number of top 10 finishes as Kansas State in the last 50 years.

    Neither did Kansas State.

Try being a fan of college football and having some historical perspective.

Bill Snyder (Yes, Hayden Fry's assistant) did more for Kansas State than Hayden Fry and Kirk Ferentz combined.

And what is with the Pags'-esque LARGE FONT?

By having another Iowa thread and leading him give all his useless stats.

You do know he's as good as Dallas Clark, Phil Ivey, and Stanford Wong don't you?

I'm sure his debating skills are up there with the best of them. Fishhead considers himself a mastbater. Not sure how you can win this one?

I was on the same staff with Bill............GREAT guy!!!

Barry Alvarez was a guy that I respected even more so though........tremendous individual, tremendous coach, tremendous family man. Barry is probably my favorite individual that has ever coached football in some capacity at Iowa.

Of course Bill Snyder did more for K-state then Kirk and Hayden combined..........Kirk or Hayden never coached K-state.

    I will go slower.

Iowa's grand total of 3 top-10 finishes in the last HALF DECADE at Iowa is not as impressive as the 6 top-10 finishes Snyder has had at KState.

    How's that?

You keep pluggin' that .500% winning record Fishie.....some program you got there.

Now you are a Kansas State fan too?

And three whole footballs to prove it?

    Wow.

Obviously my point was missed on you----too much ethanol floating around that noggin' fish? I picked historically the worst college football program----with more than 40 years of 1-A football----to demonstrate they have had more success than Iowa. Kansas State fit that description perfectly.

I can do the same with other shitty programs and compare them to Iowa if you like.

Would you like me to use oh, say Oregon State?

    Or how about Syracuse?

Because Iowa still trails both of those shitty programs in Top 10 finishes in the last 50 years.

See, this is easy....proving how irrelevant and historically mediocre Iowa football is.

By the way, do you have three Syracuse footballs on your mantle too?

    Jim Brown's used Lacrosse Jock?
