Default Is overtime fair to unders players

I hate that rule but I guess its just part of the game. A week ago I got a game that went into overtime for me and picked the over and got lucky. Tonight Donyell Marshall has to hit a three for cleveland to put into ot, i hate those. WHat's everyone's opinion on this.

My opinion is mixed but I'm more against it because i'm an under player. In baseball they give the home team better odds on the runline because they may not get another chance to bat. Shouldn't under players get some sort of break. my opinion is probably pretty wrong though

An overtime is always the kiss if you have the under ... I've survived a few when I had the under but not many ... Is it fair? ... Hell no, but ot is part of the 2nd half ... It probably makes sense to grade the race, in fairness, when regulation ends, but side players would want the same thing if they had the dog ... I played a college football game once and had the under and there was 35 points in ot ... A special day.

it is fair, because if overtimes wouldnt count the odds would be different...

Yep, the totals would probably be a bit smaller if they didnt count OT. So to me, it is fair.

Well I hate losing period in OT.
When you have two good dogs, on the same day, that lose in OT. That really hurts.

Is overtime fair to bettors who play sides? Regardless of whether or not its fair, it seems to be a necessary evil.

If you think it's unfair, why not just buy every game Over. This way you wouldn't be piss if it did go into OverTime.

don't expect totals to be much different if overtime does not count, it is just a clever trick by the bookies

    Screw the under.

Talk about sweating for a couple of hours. It isn't over (no pun intended) until the last second of the game.

Nothing like an over that covers at halftime and you just know you won no matter what. That is what I call a Julius Cesar moment

OT is definitely a factor, especially for halftime bettors.

Books are confused about OT. They include it in 2nd half wagers in BB and Football (which, IMO, they shouldn't as OT is not more a part of 2nd half as it is a part of 1st half) but exclude it in 3rd period hockey bets. IMO, they got it right in hockey; the half/period ends at the sound of the buzzer. If they were to do the same in basket and football, they could offer lines for OT. Or do they? Not much time to put them up but hey! we're fast! lol
