    Default Thoughts on fivedimes.com?

I played with these guys 2 football seasons ago...with the state of the industry, they are quickly rising in my book (due to the fact that they've survived the current situation)...anyone who plays with them regularly have thoughts on them?...

nothing special about them. But if you like varieties and parlay then 5dimes is for you. YOu can parlay anything and moneyline on everything.

they're going -105 in a couple of days. But I heard the top "GOD" I mean guy is a serial Dickhead.

I don't feel you will have any problems Pags.

As Freebie mentioned above, they will be going with a -105 line during march, and nickel lines in bases as well. So thats one book I will be using myself during the next few months.

Good solid book... I heard the same thing about thier head guy. Worst part about the book is the difficulty depositing money (they don't take CC's).

I've been playing with five dimes for a while. I've never had a problem with them, especially in the biggest respect, which is payouts. They've always processed them and taken care of me very promptly. You shouldn't have a problem.

I have heard plenty of good things about them too, I think you would be fine there along with BetJamaica, and thegreek, and BetCris. Those are the only ones I would stay with.

thanks for all of the input guys...freebie usually has a pretty good beat on these books...if they go -105 for college football, I'll consider posting up with them...thanks again and keep the thoughts coming...

    Pags,

I wouldn't be surprised if they go for it. They are playing it safe taking it one sport at a time. They also get the benefit of making multiple reduced juice announcements.

I'm thinking about posting up with them for the first time here shortly.

Are they planning on doing the -105 for hoops past March or is it just for March?

$500 limits are ok for me for basketball, but that won't cut it for football.

good book with nice offers, just dont be fooled they are at best a semi-pro book. If you win too much or beat them to many lines, they wont like you.

With Pinnacle out of the US I expect the restrictions against steam bettors relaxed but 5d and to lesser extent Greek will have you on call-in if you keep beating them to moves.

The 105 option is planned for all hoops from now on.

they have reduced juice hockey same odds as pinny has for sides totals and puck lines.... (lay -105 style pricing/dime line)

they also have Nickel overnites in MLB.....

and the most props and alternative bets than anyone!

pretty special if you ask me

bill, thanks for your thoughts...I never had payout problems with them in the back...their lack of a bonus program and the -110 led me to play with other books...however, considering the current state of the industry, and the decision to possibly go to -105 is big...

I would consider going with them if I have no problem depsoiting with them next football season. I want to wait until then and see how everything is going with what options we have to deposit with and withdrawals also.

Only problem I have with them is their bonus rules. I hope I live to see mine come in.

The bonus rules have strict wording on their site. Do they also enforce this very strictly?

    Great thread Pags....

I just finished chatting with a 5dimes rep...very helpful. It seems everything is legit. The depositing seems to be the biggest challenge right now as they assured me withdrawals have been going very smoothly. They are doing their best to accomodate their customers and recognize their is a big hole right now in the market for a long term reduced juice book.

I guess the $500 limits and pro players not being welcomed is problematic for some on here but I am neither so it should not be a problem.

I look foward to playing with them for March Madness if all works out.....

When I chatted with them they told me ** is one way or E-Gold or through a cashier's check via FedEx....i am leaning to the cashier's check. They pick up the fees I hear. I'll have to double check on that though...

But Pags is right...this could be a crucial book for foots in the fall.

I'd definitely go with the fedex route buddy as I believe they pick up the fees on deposits of $200 or more...please keep us updated...

If you are a sharp you will get the Cascade/Skybook treatment. 15 second delay. Be aware of that.

My opinion is that any book that has 500 dollar limits on anything is - well - by definition square.

    But thats OK.

There are very few books out there willing to take bets of size now anyway.

    Just FYI.

Well i was put on delay after 1 (ONE) $500 bet on the -105,
just happy that i dont really need those dickheads with Pinny and matchbook around.

Unbelievable..i was thinking 5dimes is a decent book - until now.

When confirming a bet you will see a white screen for 15-20 seconds, and after that they will let you know if the bet was accepted or denied.

Just wait. You are now on the slippery slope of being at $5 (yes 5 dollar) limits soon.

    Square city.

Exact reason I won't deal with them...

Pags you got me all excited talking about 5 cent lines...

    I miss Pinnacle
