It makes me wonder, do you think those CSR jerk-offs are eating chicken wings and drinking beer while fielding our calls??? I think we just financed one of the biggest parties on the planet.
I'm really sorry to see you guys in such a mess. I assure you no one is feeling anything except sick to our collective stomachs.

The problem with sportsbook.com is they just dont care. While most books have worked hard to find solutions to the payment processing riddle its just not a priority with sportsbook.com's mgmt.

They have a long history of slow paying and they do it on purpose to discourage withdraws. Players will think twice before going through another painful withdraw process and will end up playing out their balance.

This time around the "Dont Care" block it seems serious but its just how this ownership thinks. They truly don't care. They have always paid their staff the lowest wages in Costa Rica.

We are trying to find out what the status, the real status, of their future processors are now.

I hope you get it soon and if you do, please let us all know. Of course, our check requests have all been "processed" for a long time, they just haven't been sent.

Thanks for the info Trun. There could be some proof in that. Some of these offshore banks are not really banks as we know them. Some only send wires. Players should keep informed and be ready to swith methods to whatever they get working.

Bank wires are instantaneous. Good banks will get an international wire to good customers in a matter of minutes.

Many banks hold them 2-3 days claiming they are international and keep the interest.

In any case, if you call your bank 24 hours after the wire was sent even if they hold it for a few days, they should be able to look and see that it is "incoming"

    Sean,
Bank wires in the US take only a few minutes to an hour depending on a few variables. International wires take a couple of days because these banks are not in the US banking system and must rely on correspondance banks. There is also a time difference they contend with. If their bank is in Hong Kong thats a 12 hour time difference, for example.

So as a consensus, what does everyone think.

Is wire the way to go, i am debating big time right now.

I'll still stick with waiting for my check at least until someone posts that the wire went through. I don't like the "trial phase" explanation - last time I spoke with them they said checks will go out end of this week, I guess I'll wait until Friday or Monday.

Well I just spoke with a manager that seemed to want to help me. She informed me that checks will not be going out for another week. I reversed my money and am going to go for a wire.

I am taking a risk, but i need to do something.

On SBR page they say that sportsbook.com has notified them that they have a new wire service. I am starting to debate but I am leaning towards the check still.

Well see. Its been a long time now!!!

I was just told they are processing bank wires daily and it would take 24-48 hours to process and 3 to 5 days to show up in my account. What is the SWIFT code? Is this the same as the Routing Number of a U.S. bank?

You have to call your bank and get the special code.

I didn't really expect anything else but now there is a delay to even reverse your withdrawal (12 hours).

I am just waiting on the money then i am putting in the order for the wire.

If I was sportsbook I would not allow people to do that.. Change their payout from one method to another is stupid for them to allow... It is not magic and does not happen by itself... To reverse and reissue a payout takes personal and time which if alot of people did it would cause more of a back up then what there is already... You may be adding to your own problem...

Int bank wires depend on the bank.

With Citi and Wachovia, I have never waited more than 12 hours. If you time it just right at the end of a biz day in one land and the beginning in another, I suppose you could get it up to 24 hours.

With BkofAma, Citizens, Fleet, and Chase I've waited 3-4 days.

    Bizarre,

I just spoke with CS Manager and was told that wire is not up and running...

    I hate sportsbook.com

You're absolutely right. I just got off the phone three times with CS and they said that the wire method is NOT up and running. I asked them about my wire that they claim they processed yesterday; Their definition of processed means that they received my info only. They're not releasing any funds via wire for anybody until they feel that they've concluded the trial phase (whatever the hell that means). In other words, this stupid book is still stalling and is using no vasoline on my ass! I hate sportsbook.com !!!!!!!!!!!

    Default Stall...stall...stall...

I talked to a CS rep yesterday and they told me that it would be "safer" to just let the withdrawal sit in the que for a check. When I asked her what she meant she says that it would be less likely to be "lost" and was accounted for. So I guess it was another stall tatci by them. Does anyone no who we can ask for help on this or are we all just totally screwed...

For bank wires no confirmation is needed. The wire was sent out yesterday
as one transaction for the full amount of the 7 withdrawals. Please remember
that bank wires take 3-5 business to reach your bank account as we are sending
it from a bank that is located outside of the USA.

If you have any other doubts or questions please don’t hesitate in contacting
us and we'll assist you in anyway we can.

This was the email from yesterday - I will check and verify what it means to be sent out --- I dont know if it is just an elaborate stall tactic or what - im content on waiting till Monday - by Monday I should see the money in my account if it really was processed

Default wire better? Not according to this artilce

Might want to read this before you do the wire.. says it will lead to further delays.

I have been told they are using some customers that are platinum to test this out -- we shall see - mine was one of the testers

i hope im right -- they have not given me good info any other time, so i have no reason to believe they would start now unless it was accurate but we will see

  32. #137

It didnt matter if you left it in queue for checks or if you tried to process a wire. (Unless maybe you were a lucky one like TRUN whos wire was sent out)

They cancelled all pending requests otherwise. They have started the withdrawals process over like the last month or so never happened.

Sportsbook.com Settles Processing Issues: Adds Bonus

AddThis Social Bookmark Button Sportsbook.com was hit hard over the past weeks after their check writing processor decided to cut them off without notice.

Gambling911.com had an opportunity to speak with Sportsbook.com management on Thursday who advised us that they have taken their time implementing new processors as opposed to "just jumping into bed with companies that can't handle the processing".

"Yes, we recently suffered some delays in processing withdrawals," a Senior Manager of Sportsbook.com informed Gambling911.com. "As you know, recent changes in the US have made many of our payment processing partners leave the US business, impacting e-wallets, bank wires and even checks.

"While we've been busy working to replace those partners, it's been vital to us that we send our players money through a trustworthy, reliable new partner. Although this due diligence has slowed down our payouts (we had expected to complete this process over a week ago), it ultimately makes everyone's funds safer.

"The good news is that we've now settled on new processors for payouts by both wire and checks."

Players should begin to receive their requested funds over the next few days and throughout the coming week.

"Of course we're waiving all fees for anyone whose payout was delayed. And we're also putting a cash bonus in their accounts as a token of appreciation for their patience during this changeover process."

Sportsbook.com (for more information click here) and two of the companies sister gambling sites are endorsed by Gambling911.com. The group has entered into a major sponsorship deal with Gambling911.com this month that extends through the summer, a steadfast commitment to continue serving the online gambler.
