    Scorpion,
Send me VIP ID and rewards pts info? Did you have 490 points or a ton of points redeemable for $490?

Since when does VIP not want US Customers? I have an account with them that I use only when shopping for a line...

Was announced 2 days ago or so, also no phone wagering anymore and lots of peeps getting kicked out. (non US)

i got real lucky several months ago when i got kicked out of VIP. basically, i had about 1 million points good for about $1,000. they closed my gameday account on saturday, then my vip account on Sunday and Joe told me to get the heck out of here. I immediately went to viprewards.com and had my points cashed in and sent to nine.com. Sure enough, they showed up in nine.com as cash and i made the withdrawal immediately. what do you know, they closed my nine.com account the next day. it was a classic moment!!!! It was definitely an example of "take the money and run!!!!"

Never had a problem with VIP, and I'm in the USA. I have 5-figures on deposit there, have been able to wire in and out for the last 2 years without an issue, and whenever there's a problem they answer the phones and solve it right away. I've never had such high-quality customer service and I've got accounts with WSEX, CRIS, and SBG (unfortunately).

Was told that they're trying to fly under the radar from now on, that they have a solid client base and don't need to grow it right now, and that everything will be business as usual for online bettors.

Anyone else have a bad experience with them?

Tunes, with all respect, but your first post singing the praises of a book that gets very little love here? I guess this can be expected now that VIP has finally received a well deserved downgrade.

Does that make my post any less valid? Because I've had a different experience there? I know 20 guys who play there and they've all had good experiences. By contrast, I know lots of people that had good experiences at CRIS and I honestly have had nothing but trouble there.

    Not necessarily. But quite possibly.

While Bill Dozer is solving a problem with VIP, in an incident that could clearly taint this book, I just thought it remarkable timing to suddenly have our first pro-VIP post in a very long time, and that by a first time poster.

I could be entirely wrong. But, to speak with Barkley, I doubt it.

I should add, though, that I've become very sceptical towards all but the very best books. In the present climate I've chosen not to trust books, until they prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they can be trusted. Thanks to SBR I'm aware of a handful.

I understand your skepticism and I've tried a bunch in the last few months. I had originally started with WSEX and VIP, and since then tried BoDog, BetUS, CRIS, SBG, BetJamaica and finally, The Greek.

Each one is becoming more and more difficult to deal with, except for (in my experience) VIP. It's harder and harder to get decent-sized deposits anywhere, yet VIP accomodated me. Everyone else has small limits, I haven't found that to be the case with VIP. And VIP has also been the only really responsive one.

I wish I had known about some of the others, namely CRIS and SBG, before I used them. Had I been paying to SBR instead of OSGA, I'd have known that those 2 were very slow to pay and even slower to answer.

VIP is a recreational book. WSEX and Greek are not.

To the best of my knowledge (I don't play with VIP), Greek and WSEX have higher limits than VIP, and will not or hardly ever lower your limits if you win consistently (VIP will).

Well I will also give VIP a good mark. But after reading some of the posts on this forum I realize that I am probably their target audience. I rarely bet more than 50 dollars a game and I'm sure I have lost a few grand to them over the years. I'm also a newer poster so my opinion might not matter as much. For whatever it's worth, I've played with them for 5 years or so and have never had a problem.

It seems the cs reps at VIP have nothing to do today.
So far two have joined the forums

Are the shills stupid or they dont know all forums have a search feature

Do a search, every week there are complaints

The things that are not said often speak louder than the things that are said. Mind you, we're talking about a book that, until very recently, was rated as A+.

    Scorpion,

I'll find out about latest payout method options in the AM. If you can send me a new email that would be helpful.

maybe he should play at BetUS

They owe me a couple hundred in loyalty rewards that they have frozen until my account shows a "lifetime losing balance", whatever that means.

I am afraid if I force them to pay my rewards, which they should, they will kick me out of the sportsbook.

Right now they let me bet with a reasonable limit, so maybe it is best not to call attention to myself with an SBR dispute.

Overall, this is one of the better sportsbooks out there, even though I complain.

VIP's a recreational book. That's why I'm allowed to bet 2-3 dimes on the NFL or the NBA. And I'm a shill, that's why there's at least another guy who says it's one of the better books. And the guy that doesn't play there criticizes the place.

Oh, and one of the guy's that's criticizing me takes his avatar from a Nintendo game.

I suppose that this is a great forum as long as everyone always agrees with each other and we all play at the same books.

So you are a recreational loser player who likes to bet 2-3k on the NBA, something you didnt manage to do at Cris or Jamaica or Greek or Wsex.
You are also a recreational loser player who found this forum just now when VIP gets downgraded. Amazing.

And if you say something against Nintendo´s Yoshi, prepare to DIE shillhead!

P.S. Recreational trash talkers dont have accounts at up to 10 books.

Yes VIP has been very good to me over the last couple years. Yes it is recreational book. But i have noticed some bad things going on.
They now have shut their 24-7 call center down and have almost elminated all their pay-out options.
I was wondering if anyone has recieved a check from them?

*************** is better than regualr mail or **. Its listed as a withdrawal method on their site $15

At least I'm not a delusional wise-guy wannabe who realizes that not every book is for everyone. VIP was downgraded TO an A, they don't need my help here. But you seem to know everything and play everywhere, so you're smarter than me. You and Yoshi have a great day.

Actually, I don't need to try at all. A- would be better than 75% of the books rated here. And just look up to the top of the page, there it is.....with all of your faves.
