Well, after a particularly good financial weekend (highlighted by the Academy Awards of all things) I was much surprised this morning to find out that I have officially been shown the door by 5Dimes.
Not very surprising I imagine, as I had made large withdrawals in the past couple of weeks, had a sizeable balance, and was no doubt already on a short leash with a 30 second delay on my wager confirmations. What I do find surprising is that a book like 5Dimes would do this, as they seem to be very commited to taking "Professional" Action (Not that I am by any stretch a Professional; I was just simply winning like I was a pro). Anyway, just wondering if anybody else has been given the pink slip by this book. For the record, they were quite corteous when the decision was explained to me and paid out my balance immediately to Neteller. |

You must have crushed them. I have never heard of them booting a client.

Yeah, after a real slow start there (Lost my first $10,000 in deposits) I definitely had them under my boot heel of late.....

It never happened to me but you are far from the only person I have heard of this happening to.
I don't know where this notion comes from that 5 Dimes is for Professionals. SBR has had them designated that way for as long as I remember. I keep expecting 5 Dimes to insist SBR change that because they are clearly uncomfortable with professional action, but they seems to go along with it. It's a classic conflict of words versus actions. The words say they are for professionals but, for as long as I have been around, the actions scream, Recreational. It is my opinion that 5 Dimes needs some time on a psychiatrist's couch to sort out its issues and come to terms with who it really is.

Interesting stories. If a lot of people are getting tossed, we should take a closer look at its "professional" designation.

I'm surprised they banned you, rather than just give you a low limit.
You must be very good, and should take it as a compliment. |
