Default Forum after Forum we all read the.....

nightmare stories of Sportsbooks not accepting US Customers, transfer of money problems, etc.

With that said, has anyone considered moving?

    Thanks

My fiancé and I have been giving serious consideration to heading up to Vancouver, BC.

It really is a great city.

I think you'd have to take a pretty serious look in the mirror if you even considered moving so you can gamble on the internet. My wife is easy going, but I think if I came home with that idea, there would be some serious kicking and scraching.
Besides there are always locals and there are to many great things about this country that you wont have somewhere else.

Some people on this board actually do this for a living.

And with all due respect, some people on this board actually hope not to "have somewhere else" the sort of bigotry that you evidently think either makes or once made this country great.

I don't agree or disagree with you. I know several people who are not compulsive gamblers and all they can do is gamble because of health issues.

I personally have a Full-Time job, but respect others way of living.

There are all kinds in this world.

    It's all good.

It's not easy just to get up and move...there is a long process...lot of paperwork and then sometimes the reality of moving and leaving family and friends behind to situate in a foreign country. But then again, if you are a pro gambler you are just sitting in front of the computer 24/7 so it does not make a difference in what country you do it.....

That being the case, if you do this for a living the current climate would pretty much paralyze you. It's almost impossible to be a professional gambler online right now. I would think that if anyone were to do this for a living they would need Pinnacle as a book b/c of reduced juice and high limits and overnight lines and such.

Even so, I expect books to eventually adjust and we'll be able to fund our accounts more smoothly by football season. I don't know if we'll ever go back to the glory days with Pinnacle and Neteller running the way they use to.
