    there is no way he leaves the game being as effective as he is...and look at the yankee team they have assembled without any huge losses this year...they gonna make another run for it next year, and everyone will get to watch mariano close those playoff games out too...hes not retiring

    Rivera will be back. He showed he has alot in the tank. He was used for 2 innings and was very effective. And it would be nice to have Mo teach JC more about the role.

    Lol, anyone who says Mo isn't a HOF'er doesn't know what is going on. You have the most dominant closer of the past decade and the most dominant closer in post-season history. He is the only thing near automatic left in baseball. He will be first ballot.
