Default You Are Nuts To Lay -200 on Pettite on 3 Days Rest

Especially with Yanks middle relief, doubt Rivera even has anything to save

Yanks very well may win, I'll take Phils with that lineup at +190 or so against a pitcher on 3 days rest after seeing them tee off on Burnett

Never said I bet it Herman, just saying that the Yankees will win.

I bet Yanks in contests, but not for real money

You are nuts to back Pedro again after the Yanks handled him the first time... Andy wants to go out on a high note, he is going to give everything he has in this game...

I can't believe the Yankees sacrificed Burnett against Lee. Why not just throw your number 5 starter out there so you can have Burnett for game 6? Everyone knows Burnett pitches much better at home. Another retarded move by Girardi.

Who will pitch when Pettite loses game 6? CC again on 3 days rest?

Phillies win big tonight. All pressure on Yankees.

I agree ravypacer. Another gaffe by Girardi what a surprise. This guy is going his best to lose this series.

Andy will pitch the game of his life tonight and the Bombers will light up Pedro like a Christams Tree, baby! Bombers WIN BIG tonight!

I tell you if the Phillies win tonight and I'm Manual I go with Lee on 2 days rest, ride him as long as he is effective and back him up with Happ. I wouldn't go near Hamels...

Funny thing... I don't remember Pedro getting "lit up" last time he started in this series against the Yankees. Odds are better the Yanks win tonight, but you can't overlook the value on the Phils here. I think this is going to be a great game!

If there is a game 7 and Manuel starts Hamels he might as well be conceding the series. Hamels publicly made his feelings known about the series and this season. If there is a game 7 It has to be LEE!

    1) I agree, should be a great game tonight -- and I agree that the Value is with the Phils at +185. A GREAT value.

    2) I love the heart of Pettite but he is older now and not the same on three days' rest as he might have been four or five years ago. Pedro had his full rest and was excellent for six innings last Thursday

    3) No way Hamels starts game 7 if there is one. It would be Happ, with Hamels coming on to get an inning or two, followed by every arm including Lee.

A few years back there was a team named the Chicago cubs... Then there was a manager named Dusty Baker... Then there was Dusty "fkhead" Baker leaving these two guys in games way to long...

At the time it looked like the Cubs might have the two most dominant pitchers in the game... A few years later after over pitching them... Prior basically out of baseball due to shoulder problems... Wood reduced to a short reliever/closer with the loser Indians...

Lee should not pitch...especially start on 2 days rest. Maybe to get an out ot two...but that is it!

Good point G Lee didn't seem like his stellar self as it was in game 5 Possibly Happ would be their best option for a game 7 starter.

I gotta say, that -200 line is extremely shocking.. Pedro loves to pitch at yankee stadium, pedro has never lost a game in post season facing elimination.. this is where pedro excels. pedro has been pitching like the pedro of 1999.. and the yanks are -200? wow

i really thought this line would be NYY -165 at best.. but then again, if the oddsmakers made it -200, then i assure you they know what they are talking about.... that's why the line is still -200 and not pounded down to -175. cause that line is right..

Or maybe oddsmakers know something about Victorino and know he's out tonight.. Shane is huge for phillies..

The Man named Dusty Baker pulled a guy leading 5-0 in Game 6 of the 2002 world series and they lost the game, oh how I wished he left Ortiz in "too long!!." Its one start and its the World Series!! Give me a break with the Woods and Prior crap!!

    Lee should start...

Victorino had x-rays and his hand is fine. He was upset when Charlie Manuel pulled him out late in game 5 Could be sore though!

Only Chase Utley and Cliff Lee have been visible for the phils this series. The yankee bats have come around and tonight they will level Pedro and send his sorry ass into permanent retirement. Petitte might not do so great but it wont matter cause Pedro will do worse. The over and the yanks are the play here.

In Game 7 Phils start Happ and then bring in Lee in the 6th or 7th to close it or pitch til his arm falls off

Pedro will get lit up 2nite. Guaranteed. 100%. Done in 4 tops. I'm scared for Andy on 3 days though. I don't think they could make this total high enough. I guess like YANKEES 7-6.

I remember that game well. It was a Saturday night and I was HUGH on the Giants. Was out partying at a club...feeling good..came back to the bar for a drink and the Angels took the lead. Oh man that one hurt Smitchy.

    It hurt real bad.

I am not taking about one game...and again what you said proves my point... Dusty Baker very poor decision maker with his pitchers... call me when the reds win a world series...the guy is way above his job potential...and way over his head with the reds.

Lee seemed to run out of gas in last start and not sure Happ would hold up under pressure...

It didnt work the first time but I still honestly think they will rock Andy. Getting +185 on a defending champion at home is a great value.
