I had TCU one spot ahead of IOWA in my poll............bad mistake on my part.

Many, like myself, are giving TCU way to much credit for their thrashing of BYU at BYU....................

TCU has no wins against a TOP 25 BCS team..........UGH!!

One can certainly see how the SIX computers used in the BCS have them at #2 when averaged out.

Iowa is clearly getting robbed by the COACHES and HARRIS polls but the good thing for Iowa and their fans is that the voters in these polls are slowly but surely realizing their mistakes when they see numbers like those I posted.

As an IOWA fan, I however still do not have them in my TOP FOUR..............but this week could change that depending on their game and a few others involving the top eight...............or they could drop out of my TOP 15 with a loss.

    Not a good statistical study.
Iowa will get pounded if they make it to a BCS Bowl Game.
Big 10 sucks last several years.
Remember to bet against them, say they make it to play Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
    Will be, oh, Oregon -9.
    Oregon 38-17.

Fishead, I LOVE the Big10. Fishead, Iowa would get pounded by Florida, Bama, Texas, Oregon, USC, etc...

    Fishead,

Iowa has no shot. They squeezed by whoa-full opponents all year long.

Number of games, including bad teams, that Iowa BARELY won:

    5? 10?

If Iowa didn't get so much love from the big ten refs keeping their BCS hopes alive, they wouldn't be in the top 10.

Fish I can't follow your logic when even you don't have them rated in your top 4.

Doesn't Iowa have a winning record in bowl games this decade?

    4-3 with wins over

    South Carolina
    Florida
    LSU
    Texas Tech

    Losses to

    Texas by 24-26
    Florida 24-31
    USC 17-38

Not many schools can post that record. 2 of there two losses were 1 possession games. I love how the SEC will own Iowa... OWN US BABY OWN IT....ROFLZ

Yes, with wins over three SEC schools................ FLORIDA, SOUTH CAROLINA, and LSU.

........and they lost to Texas in a squeaker and got robbed of another potential victory over Florida on a bad call late.

I have attended every Iowa bowl game this decade.

IOWA had to block 2 field goals in their 1st game to beat N. Iowa!!

They are plenty rated...Also, I don;t think Texas will have a win v a team with less than three losses..maybe four.

Fishhead here's a hypothetical question for you ... Iowa wins out beating Ohio St in the process say by 4, Texas wins out with one more close game and FL wins out barely beating Bama and doesn't look sharp at S. Car either or against Fl St. ... would it be your claim that Iowa SHOULD (not will) jump FL or Texas?

iowa would only reach the title game by winning out and having Texas lose a game. Neither is going to happen IMO. Iowa will lose to Ohio St and OSU will rep the B10 once again as long as they beat Penn St this week. Much tougher test then beating Iowa IMO and the line reflects that.

Iowa would be a dog to pretty much every other team with a shot at being in a BCS game. Maybe favorites over Boise or TCU, but I think both would beat Iowa, especially Boise.

I would rather see Boise in the title game than Iowa, but Iowa definitely does not get enough credit for the year they are having. I just think talent wise they are the worst team out of all the possible teams in a bcs game

SEC won't let Alabama or Florida lose a game...and there is no one left on the schedule that matches up against Texas. Iowa is going to get the ole shaft at the end of the year.

Relax, for IOWA to get shafted, they have to win THREE more games, including a trip to the Horseshoe and a game at home this week to a team that has given them fits in conference play.

I still can't believe they are still 4. They almost lose to Indiana. They almost lose to Michigan state...how many games do they to come back from to win? What's going to happen when they actually play a good team and get down big?

Iowa should be ranked 9th or 10th. Not 4th.

It's also unfair to compare stats in different conferences. Obviously, texas and florida and alabama all play much better caliber teams. And just because a team is ranked in the top 25 doesn't mean they belong there...ahem (iowa at 4) ahem ohio state in the top 15 as well as penn state.

Every team that Iowa has played thus far has had back loaded schedules. All of Iowa's opponents have played cream puffs. Name a single quality win by any of Iowa's opponents? Michigan over a lousy ND? We will soon see how lousy Iowa's opponents are in the next few weeks. Page me then with Iowa's opponents winning percentage...

Iowa is garbage and will soon be exposed. Arguably the most over rated CFB team in the history of the game. Watch. Maybe this weekend.
