Ok, here's the deal. I'm backing the Pistons tonight +7. I've been thinking about this game since the line came out. It's obvious the "sexy" pick is the Magic. Why not, right? The magic are rollin right now and taking no prisoners and Dwight Howard is a beast. Yea, their a good team and will contend for the title once again this year, but listen, I'm a long time Piston fan and the history between these two teams is simple. The Pistons OWN the Magic. Go back as many years as you want and you will see . The pistons usually always beat the Magic. And now you wanna give me points w/ the pistons at home against the magic?? Ok, it is true rip hamilton is out for 2 games, sheed and billups are long gone, but the Magic do not play well at the palace of Auburn Hills or even at home when the play the Pistons . And even at Ben Wallace old age he looks like his former self so far up to this point and he should be able to play some good D on Dwight. Detroit is coming off 2 straight losses to OKC and the bucks. Now they go home and i believe will play well enough to cover the spread or possibly win straight up but I'm taking the 7.There is a lot of good young talent in the D and I think this is a good spot for the Pistons. I'm not good with totals so i really couldn't tell you. If I had to guess i would say both teams will score in the 90's range but that is just a guess

orlando has never been favored by anything like 8.5 in detroit. they look good this year so far, but detroit was able to rise up against them last year when they were shittier than they've been in years. you can't deny the history, i like detroit +8.5 as well.
