Some very good books have 'slipped' a bit under the circumstances of the last 2.5 months. Should they be given some slack and maintain their A or A+ rating or should they be lowered to an B ?

Example WSEX & Greek: Two books I've used since I started online wagering and before "under the circumstances" I rated them both the same. Cannot say that now.

Personally, I think if they've slipped, their ratings should be lowered. I don't believe in rating the books on a curve. If there are no books rated higher than a "B", that's fine with me. The ratings should reflect reality.

I would say this depends on what the ratings represent, which I've always found a little odd. If we value quick access to our money as a requirement of an A+ book then by definition you need to lower a lot of people's ratings for a while.

Arilou, "quick" is relative... But when it takes over 5 business days to get paid by EFT, ** or FedEx then something is wrong and not deserving an A+ rating.

There's no question something is wrong, and I agree that downgrades (hopefully temporary) are in order if they don't get their acts together reasonably soon. I'm off the deep end, in that I'm choosing to get my checks by USPS rather than Fed-Ex to save the fees, but I can tell that isn't the average gambler's call. I would also use payments to non-USA players as part of the guide here. If you still pay those guys in 7 minutes, to me that earns you some slack.

Greek is the best book out there right now. No question at all.
Bank wires in under 48 hours although they'll say 4-5 days.
Will change your neteller account to a new one.

The Greek and Bet Jamaica to me has seemed to be the only ones that were prepared for tough circumstances it looks like. You can use some of the **** gift cards and have no problem depositing with either one of them. I see that no one compares to them because they were very prepared and they didn't do much advertising in the United States either which I think they were very smart on how they have done things here. I have had an account with Olympic Sports for about 13 years now and they have always gotten money to me when I have won no matter what. The only complaint that I have is when you hit something in horse racing their payoffs are just a little to low but Bet Jamaica makes up for that with their higher payoffs, so just do your horse betting through them.
