Default Georgia #1 in the nation the past 12 years

Only team in the nation to win at least 8 games a year for the past 12 years.

Only 3 of those years did they win only 8 games. 9 of those years they won 9 or more.

7 of those years they had double digit wins.

What a program. What a roll they are on.

Next year will be a glorious one for the greatest team in the nation.

    2, thanks for asking. 1942 and 1980.

In 3 of the past 12 years, Georgia was the best team in the nation and would have beaten any team in the championship game, but was not lucky enough with the computers and finished 2nd in the nation.

okay whatever. get a grip. Georgia will never be a superpower. great players outta Georgia but never can win the big games.

Georgia has been the biggest underachievers the last 12 years. They are ranked anywhere between 5 to 25 and then they lose the game that can get them to the top. Same story for Georgia every year.

They have 2 SEC championships over the past 12 years and like 3 BCS game wins. But they can't win the big game?

Grosshit, GA has finished in the top 5 probably 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years.

Georgia has been a superpower since they won the national championship in 80.

Is that a big game? To beat a team to win the national championship?

Georgia has really gotten screwed in the polls when we had national championship (caliber) teams.

Too bad we didnt have Jesus on our team like Florida or Notre Dame or we wouldve been playing for it.

Yep. We should have played for at least 2 national championships recently but we are not a public team so they booted us out despite the fact that we were the best team in the nation.

They were also number one in the nation in shooting themselves in the foot today. Lots of Bulldogs limping around after that one.

in the last 12 years Georgia has failed to beat Florida and Tennessee in the same year. Sooo how does that make Georgia the best team in CFB when you guys have been owned by Florida and Tennessee the last 12 years.

Georgia has been a good team but not near where Florida and Oklahoma has been recently though. Georgia is terrible this year though. They will be happy with a bowl game this year and if they do go to a bowl game it will be a low rated one no doubt.

My gators are 2 out of the last 3 with 3 of the last 4 on the way.

Oh yeah I'm talking about national championships not winning seasons.

1942 and 1980? Hmmmmm. thats seems like a long time in between. Look all that matters is championships, not who played good from what era or what not. So they won at least 8 games a year, SO. What matters is who is at the top of the hill in the end. like FLA and LSU have been recently.

    owned by FLA, yes
    Tenn, no...

GA is far from the best team in recent years.
    consistent winning seasons - yes
Powerhouse may be a bit of a stretch, I'd say in the top 3 teams in the SEC every year, this year not so much.
All programs go through tough years, this just happens to be GAs. If they win 7 to 8 games this than that would be a great yr for this team. alot of programs would love to have a bad season and win 7 or 8 games
I wouldn't say they lose all big games, but have lost games that became meaningful once the season played out

Fla fans enjoy it while you can. congrats on another beating in Jacksonville.
this time next yr you'll be reminiscing of the Tebow yrs

no doubt he's got the tools if Fla recruited him.
however producing when it counts is yet to be seen.
the same holds true for GAs 3 5 star QBs in waiting

I'm a realist and aint the 1 saying GA is the best team in the nation the past 12 yrs. Good team, consistant good team, yea they have been.
I take the good with the bad. but I like UGAs chances going forward with a young team minus a couple key players.
I've been a fan since the 80s when I was knee high to a grasshopper due to being born into the tradition.
FLAs glory days are in the present, enjoy it while ya can cause it wont last forever

But I love SEC football and if UGA cant win the title than I'll be rooting for which ever SEC school makes it to the game

I said GA was the only team the past 12 years to win at least 8 games every year. And I am right about that.

I was asked about any national championships we had won so I answered, that is why the past was brought up, because somebody else brought it up and I answered their question.

GOOOOOOOOOO..... DAWGS! SIKEM!!!!!! HOO HOOO HHOO HOO HOOOO

Yeah I asked that question, but GA is not the #1 team in the nation for the last 12 yrs, and we just broke it down to why they are not and with championships in the mix it speaks for itself. GA is a good program but they are not the #1 team in recruiting or season. Its always up for debate.

Today is the last day that dawgs should bark after that beat down. Maybe wait after a win or maybe in the off season but noone's buying this today.

FYI - The problem with UGA isn't Tebow neither the UGA players. It's the UGA coaches and as long as nothing changes we Gator fans can be assured of more dominance in the future. We love Richt, Bozo er I mean Bobo and Martinez. Is there any way to give them life time contracts???
