Payout delays: Still not acceptable and players need to take them as warning signs.
No matter if its VIP, CRIS are whoever. The books have real problems with processing right now. Whatever. Their job is to find a way to pay when they lose and players must try to hold some ground here. We can't accept slow pays.
A big risk here is that a book in trouble will be able to hide behind the "processing excuse". It makes our job harder and removes an early warning detection that a book is in trouble.
Players need to be vocal. Players need to only play at books they trust. Honorable bookmakers will always find a way to pay.

Under the present conditions if one cannot refrain from betting offshore then they should take an inventory of themselves because there may be a personal problem brewing.

I was able to withdraw using moneybookers at Mansion within just a few hours. Of course I had to submit identification etc prior to withdrawal.
The books that I had withdrawal problems with were 5dimes and WSEX. I do not know if they are "okay" right now.
I do not know if 5Dimes' promoting of e-gold as a payment method is a way for them to easily get funding. That is why I posted on another thread if anyone actually did the whole e-gold process of payment & withdrawal successfully.

I cannot accept slow pays neither but when the hell can we do if like me after 13 months of a series of successful moneybookers payouts with POINTBET they just decide that its time not to release fast payouts anymore. I am an optimisitic guy by nature but I am still waiting for my $2k moneybookers already 5 weeks by now.

Bill or JOhn,
What do you know about BetTrojan? are they making payouts or heard any complains. I kinda like their -105 games.
I'm stuck with Skybook's -107 right now and it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to withdraw via WU.

That is why Im sticking to betting in town. Offshore is such a question mark these days. I want to see improvements before I jump back in to the offshore books. I dont want to jump through hoops to get money in and out of a book. Its really nice to have it go right into my pocket.

This is all good and well, but if we're trying to get money out of a book (as most of us are), we really don't have a choice.

Bill follows BetTrojan so he would have a better opinion. Gameday, Matchbook and other good books are struggeling to make timely payouts. They are honorable bookmakers and will pay.
Players need to continue to complain because the standard is being lowered as we speak. Players are losing ground.
As players, you guys shouldnt care why payouts are slow. Excuses and .50 will still get you a jelly dougnut. Dont let SBR or anyone else tell you slow pays are OK. The books i think make good money. Its their job to find a way to pay players. Its certainly not the players job to accept slow pays as normal.

I understand both sides of this. Slow pays are miserable, but slow pays do not even begin to compare to no pays. Let's not confuse the issue.

I have always wondered about our priorities. Yes, it's great to be able to request a payout and have the money in an hour. But is that what really maters? To me, this represents an opportunity cost of money that defies reality. If I can choose between -110 lines that pay instantly and -109 lines where I can withdraw in three weeks, I know which one I'm going to bet at, and I'm not laying -110 - I'm with Wheell. Pay me late, so long as you pay me. I certainly do not want a book to risk drawing the wrong kind of attention in order to avoid slowpays during a strange period.
What I want to know even more is, where does SBR_John plan to get a .50c Jelly Doughnut? Mmm, jelly doughnuts...

Trojan is having payout delays that should have been avoided. I do think all players will be paid. Look for Trojan to fade away from post-up and become a pre-Trojan TopCat kind of operation. Trojan says they are sticking with the 105.

Now is about the time when the slowpays can turn into nopays.

For all the problems Neteller is having it still can be a viable solution for many players. The book might be unable to send money to a US player but it could Neteller it to another book. Many have done this. Books should also be willing to do interbook transfers and then Neteller to non-US peers.

Interbook transfers used to be free (at least the ones I was aware of), but no sooner do we hit a rough spot or CRIS decides to charge $50 for it. In the present climate that type of attitude amazes me.

I take it most of you guys are in the US.Well slow pays happen in the UK.I have an account with coral on the phone and online,i requested a withdrawal from my online coral account back to my debit card, after 10 working days no money,i sent them an email the money was sent that day and was in my bank the next.Yet if i make a withdrawal by the same method with say ladbrokes, stan james or blue square the money is in my bank the next day no exception. So it appears to me all the slow payers are doing is earning interest off everyones withdrawals, obviously there are exceptions to this but which ones are which.

for what its worth, these are the books i have received payouts from in the past 3 weeks and how long it has taken.
Matchbook 2 days (very surprised due to all the talk about them being slow)
Cris - 3 days
Bet Jamaica - 3 days
Just bet - 12 days
Bodog - 14 days
Vip - going on a week now,
WSEX - been 5 days, I'm not worried but emails to customer service for a tracking number have gone unanswered
All withdrawals were by Fed EX,
also, almost forgot it was about a month ago, Skybook by Moneygram, 3 days
