Default What is CRIS trying to pull here?

On all of the skills competitions at this weekend's NBA All-Star Game, CRIS has "Field" lines posted. However, they also have every contestant listed as well. Someone, especially the CRIS sycophants that run this board, please explain how this isn't a bush league trick to steal money from naive bettors.

You're far more cynical than I am.

I'd have assumed it was just a clerical mistake.

I think the reason is because of scratches and additions.

In these contests, there are always late changes. This covers the integrity of the wager. I would assume that if you bet field and the listed people participate only, they would refund your money.

    I assume....

I believe vanzack is correct here...pissed me off one time though I bet the field in the home run hitting contest and like four guys dropped out...I won and had 8:1 but when I went to cash at the casino they paid me 4:1...I was way to young to know exactly how I was being ripped off (being that they should have paid the 8:1), I just knew I was getting ripped off...

Cris charged me $25 for transferring money to a friend at Cris. It costs them nothing for an internal transfer. You would think that the books would be encouraging this instead of gouging their players.

Default They need to post the $25 fee on their websit

They can charge whatever fees they like, and we can decide where we want to bet, but it is unacceptable not to post their fees on the website.

I see no reason they would refund your money on field if field did not play; you are betting that players will drop out and that the replacements will win.

And CRIS's fees are definiely frustrating; if we had more good options, they would be a more serious issue.

That is just so wrong !

They remind me of a bank that nickels and dimes you with stupid fees. I hate CRIS, and will probably never play there again.Greek is so much better unless you are a whale and need CRIS limits.

$25 is a ridiculous charge to transfer someone money within CRIS...you'd think it'd be free since the money still is staying with CRIS...

I do not understand why they want to nickel and dime you like this. It angers us far more than the money they make.

They are probably experiencing a drastic decline in business sooooooooooooooo be prepared to take it up the arse on fees, etc. to make up the shortfall.

The real last straw is they charge you a fee to transfer into their book.

If I transfer 5D to CRIS, 5D doesn't charge, but CRIS does !

If I go 5D to Greek, no fees from either.

They might as well put out an Unwelcome mat, that says:

    GO,AWAY !

Yeah if CRIS didn't open their lines first I'd have no need for them...

Requested a payout from CRIS a week ago today. They still don't even have a fedex tracking number for the check.

Clearly, they are taking their time sending out checks, and in my opinion are misusing the present situation.

Been trying to arb that CRIS account to $0 for several weeks. Just can't get the "losing" streak I want. The day my needle hits "E" there will be a happy one.

Was going to make a deposit with them tonight but not now ... There is ABSOLUTELY no excuse why they don't have your withdrawal in the system.
