Default Is "California bias" the only reason USC is favored against Oregon?

I like Oregon tonight as a home dog. They should be favored by 3 instead of a dog by 3 in my book. Just seems like USC popularity and "California bias" is the only thing favoring them here.

pavy you taking the +3 when was the last time usc was beaten easily? last time i can remember them losing by more than a touchdown was 2001 @ notre dame.

Last time they went to the state of Oregon they lost outright as a 25 point fav. Also got hammered in the state of Washington this year as a big fav. USC doen't travel well in the states north of California where it is not hyped by the media.

Yeah pavy - the words "AT OREGON" mean a lot here. I remember Mark Sanchez's game for USC when he played them - couldn't get much going at all and they lost.

If you look at how these teams have faired against equal opponents the line absolutely shows Vegas is absolutely playing off USC bias.

I'm in town and this place is already nuts. Game Day is here and the Ducks are pumped. Weather is cold, rainy (temps will drop below 50 degrees) and Matt Barkley has never experienced this kind of weather and this noise level. Ever. Ducks are on a roll - defense is way underrated. Oregon true freshman cornerback Cliff Harris will be tested for sure. Oregon money line is the play.

Weren't they a 14 point fav? This means they lost ATS by 17 points.

I like Oregon today also guys. I think that USC doesn't hold any practices in the rain and it is going to be hard for them hold on to the ball in that kind of conditions. The rain sure plays in the favor of Oregon. USC has not won in Oregon in three years now even considering how good they are. Remember Washington beat them and they are lower than Oregon is.

USC has lost its last three games in the state of Oregon. 41 degrees and rainy tonight.

I have OU ML. USC won't be able to throw and the running game of OU will score more points than USC.

mark sanzhez never played at oregon unless your refering to at oregon state, but this is purely a public line i think oregon has a legit chance to win this game, but this is definatly a no play for me

it seems everyone including "experts" believe oregon will win the game outright. that seems scary to any oregon bettors because whenever the public sees something as a sure thing, it's more than likely to go the other way...

Don't normally do this but I am wagering half my bankroll on these two games. Just got the itchin to bet big tonight. I am splitting $5,400 (HALF MY BANKROLL) on Oklahoma State +9 and USC -3. Call me crazy but I guess that's why they call it gambling..... $2700 each. Wish me luck...

The only thing keeping me from betting Oregon is that Lee Corso picked them today
