although Herschal did it in far less games and an era when bowl games didnt count towards records

Did Georgia win during the Zook years? Do they miss him?

UGA still leads the all-time record

Following the 2008 contest, Georgia held a 47-38-2 advantage in the all-time series. However, Florida has gone 16-3 in the game since 1990 (Georgia winning in 1997, 2004 and 2007) to follow a 15-5 domination by Georgia through the 70s and 80s. There is a disagreement in regard to the overall series record. University of Florida records indicate the series record with Georgia stands at 46-38-2 in UGA's favor. Georgia's records indicate a 47-38-2 lead, which includes a 52-0 Bulldog win in a game played in Macon, Ga., in 1904. However, Florida did not field an official team until 1906.

Tuberville is the answer. He would get that defense together and the team would be better.

FLORIDA is 11-6 against the spread versus GEORGIA since 1992
FLORIDA is 14-3 straight up against GEORGIA since 1992

Taking the points and Georgia on the ML for a small wager. Florida has not impressed me against their fellow SEC opponents. Georgia may be the one knock off the Gators. They have been hanging by a thread the past couple of weeks. This may not be correct but I'm pretty sure that Florida hasn't covered the spread against any of their SEC opponents.

I think taking Florida tomorrow will be a very good play also. Florida is much better than Georgia is this year and I think you are getting a gift by only having to give 15 points. I thought it would be higher than this but Florida hasn't been playing as well lately either so the linemaker thinks.

Z, hun, you do realize that Tubberville is the main reason Auburn has no depth don't you?

Nina Tuberville been coaching for a long time. He knows how to run a program. He did what he can at Auburn, but the fact is there facilities are not great and he has little to work with. If you put Tubberville at a Georgia he can really excel. He did really well at Auburn with nothing just imagine if he had Georgia resources. The man can coach!

Florida covered against UK and LSU...

I like UF here BUT UGA had an extra week to prepare. That may be all the help they need to cover the spread. Very small play here for me.

Stop the fukking madness... Herschel played 3 years but he had almost twice as many carries as Tebow. So HW had much more chances to score running TD's. Plus last I checked Herschel can't touch Tebow in passing TD's too...

Herschel was the best college athlete I've ever played against but don't try and diminsh Tebow by saying HW played in less games when he ran the ball damn near every down.

Georgia will win straight up if they have any clue and force Tebow to throw. He has not looked right and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a shoulder injury from the Kentucky game. Just my opinion, but if they let QB draws beat them they deserve to lose.

Mac4life I agree Georgia did have an extra week to get ready. That might make the difference here. Florida has a very good defense so their defense could win the game for them also.

Well we know he had a head problem from that game. I doubt he has any problems with his shoulder. He's holding on to the ball waaaay too long and he's trying too much. The play calling has sucked but he's not playing at his best for sure. UGA is the type of team qb's get well on. If he struggles tomorrow then he has issues.

He looked good on the tube the other day
He really pegged it to a nail
    capping the oklahoma/texas game
    to a tee
and he went on to say but it want what you do if Bradford gets knocked out

not really capping he gave thoughts how to beat texas

really impressive how correct he was about giving up on the run
but having short passes that kept your offense from
    negative gains etc etc

this may be my last night on here
wont know what to do without u

not dimishing Tebow at all. but the record should be at 54 TDs not 49. HW had 5 TDs that dont count towards the record.
HW also was on a team with no other all -americans for the majority of his college career. Singlehandedly carrying the team on his back. Other teams knew he'd get the ball every down and still couldnt stop him.
Tebow the greatest college player ever doesnt look so great without a supporting cast

Expect a tight game and Florida wins on a FG as time expires after Georgia tied the game and got assessed a 15 yard penalty for celebrations.

Is it bad if you are comparing a RB to a QB and the QB has as many rushing td's? In my opinion either HW's stats arent impressive (which they are EXTREMELY impressive) or Tebow is just that good. Also which other offensive player is an All-American on their team this year the only one he has had was Harvin and that was 2007. Another thing, Tebow wasnt even a starter his freshman year so technically he did it in 3 years correct? Because he played probably about half of his freshman year then sophomore and junior and now half way through senior year

Both Georgia and Florida struggle to move the ball during the game. Georgia goes up 17-10 middle of the 4th then on the ensuing drive Georgia gets 120 yards in penalties and Florida marches down the field to tie it up. Georgia punts it to Florida and Florida hits a 65 yard hail mary on the last play of the game to win it with 13 men on the field which the replay official can't overturn because the camera angle is blurry.

there is no other AA on the team this year, that is the point. why isnt he putting up huge numbers now.
and technically HW did it in 2.5 years
Tebow will have an * by his record just like Barry Bonds

Florida due for a breakout game unless they are not that good, still might take Georgia with 15
