Then you have Burnett who loves to walk batters. If he does that against this Philly team, he will get burned for a big inning!

For the cherry on the top, you have Yankee Stadium. The premier venue for home runs! Also, two powerful lineups with plenty of power!

I definately agree that Burnett walks a lot of batters. Yanks will try to bounce
back but find that Philly Hitters are just too patient. Pedro will be fine for
about 6 innings- by that time Philly will be ahead by 3 or more runs. But
the dagger is the Yankee pen is garbage!! Take the Phillies with the huge
plus money$$$$$

He pitches a lot better in the warm weather. Yes, he pitched for the Red Sox and Mets, but he pitched a lot better when the weather was warm. His breaking stuff works better in the warm weather.

The Yanks should get a few off of Pedro, but I wonder how much of a factor that this could very well be Pedro's last chance under the spotlight and he knows it. He is one of the greastest pitchers of all time and in a situation such as this there is a possibility that he digs deep and shows us one last great performance.

It will be another exciting night to see what happens.

I considered this factor also. Pedro could surprise because this is his last shot at the big time. Plus his arm is fresh! I just don't like the situation for him tonight!
