Default LOL at Cliff Lee's nonchalant catch

    Facial expression afterwards was classic.

Who did you bet in the series? Did you have a Phillies future at the beginning of the playoffs?

Herman, I think the whole world (outside of Yankee homers) has a Phillie future

I got nothing in terms of live futures or Game 1. I MIGHT play Yankees series if they lose Game 1, it all depends on adjusted price.

He may have tried that if they called infield fly rule.

I couldn't back the Yanks down 0-1 with Burnett taking the mound....

I think Lee is only Phillie that can keep Yankees bats quiet. Yanks will still be favored, question becomes will price be low enough for me to take it.

90 minutes from Philly. I am actually closer to Baltimore and New York City than I am to Pittsburgh.

Louisville Cardinals basketball almost lost an exhibition game against a Division 2 team.

I wouldn't read too much into that. A lot of teams use exhibition to just work on their schemes. Remember last year, a couple of Big 10 teams lost to rags in exhibitions.

    that's one confident fellow- Lee
Philly at a price after winning game 1 seems hard to believe.

Remember, Yanks closed at -223. They'll still be favored with Lee out of the way. The only game Phillies will be favored in the series is when Lee pitches in Philly. If he comes back in a Game 7, he may not be as sharp coming back on 3 days rest for the second straight start.

Damn, I missed the second catch, I changed the channel when Phils made it 4-0.

By the way, Yanks were -118 to win series at Matchbook at least check with just over 2K available.

but it looks like a big gap between the prices. Philly price is in the neg too. Seems like Yankees are a very slight fav but no +$ offers on philly yet.

Lee's been a beast for 2 years now, and the Yankees don't hit elite LHP's that well, especially if Tex struggles.
GG Cliff, easy to be nonchalant IMO when you're 6'6" and have a dirty circle change and a sharp curve.
