What are your thoughts on the UGA/FLA game?
Line opened at 16.5 and has been bet down to 15 as of today.
Looks to me like the public likes the Dawgs in this one. ( no pun intended)
As a Dawg fan I wouldn't touch it. I think people are looking to much into FLAs last 2 games where they struggled to put up points.
But I think the majority is forgetting how god awful UGAs defense is. A team of paraplegics could score 24 on this D
Add to that their inability to run the ball against far inferior defenses compared to FLA and you have a recipe for another embarrassment in Gainesville.

Can Mike Bobo and Willie Martinez finally get their head out of their ass and call a good game and shock the nation? or even cover?

IMPOSSIBLE, as his math models would indicate Alabama scoring no more then 10 pts against Iowa in what is perhaps the best all-around defense in the nation.

Of course, Alabamas defense would be good for 10, so I guess a 20-5 final is a reasonable thought.

The good thing is he can be very, very good at least at times............especially when needed to be.

He has now gone two straight games without an INT after having at least one in every other game this season(3 returned for TD's) and at least one in every game he started last season.

I think they are a better team than that of some of the previously overrated Ohio State teams but I still don't know if they could handle the overall speed of an SEC type team. If the unthinkable should happen this weekend at Oklahoma St we just might ge an opportunity to see an Iowa vs Alabama/Florida match-up though.

Iowa has speed on defense, at many of their positions.............the one thing they do not fare well against is a running QB..........and thus Ohio State, and Florida if they meet, will present a major problem for Iowa.

What are your thoughts on the huge gaps between the best and worst teams in the NFL? Do you expect the favorites to continue covering large spreads (7ish or more) at such a high rate or will this level off to where it was in the past?

Dr Bob, What are the best and most reliable stats that you use in your Math Models. Yards per play, or yards per point and Why? How much of an edge do you give Home teams?

Finally, I noticed that you have three systems. Two Math models, and you follow trends. How much weight do you give each of them? Do all three have to favor the team for you to play them?

I am loving Houston this week and wonder why the line isn't 6. Can you ever recall a team in the NFL getting outgained 855-472 over a two game span and winning both, as the Bills have?

Being +8 in turnovers in 2 games helps.

What is your view on Turnovers? Erratic, consistent, lucky, or impossible to cap?

Look at the Iowa St./Nebraska game, and WVU's struggles with them this year.

Question for Dr. Bob:

Thank you for answering my question last week. I've got another follow-up question based on your intro video last week (Dr. Bob's Picking This Year) and your letter to your customers after last week's disappointing results:

You mentioned the year you hit 70% but only "graded" yourself at 67% due to some fluke wins. Since you've had a couple fluke losers this year, and thus sit at below 50% now because of them, are you still confident that you will still finish the year above 52%? I ask because many people I've spoken to plan to keep playing your best bets at increased unit amounts, based on the assumption that you will "turn it around" over the next couple weeks. But if these fluke losers you've had were winners, then one might expect only moderate results from here on out rather than a big turn-around. So from a year-end-result perspective, do you view those fluke losers as losers nonetheless, or as "should have been winners" that may in fact mitigate the "big turnaround" many of your followers expect?

What are your thoughts on the South Carolina/Tennesse game? Kiffen's mouth made headlines in the SEC and early money is on SC, but their games last week have me guessing.
