    Default OT - No football, rent "Hollywoodland"

    Just watched "Hollywoodland" tonight on DVD. Wow. What a great movie. I've always been interested in Hollywood real-life mysteries, and this movie about the life and death of George Reeves was terrific. Great cast, and even Ben Affleck is great as Reeves.

    But the star of this movie is Diane Lane as Toni Mannix. She plays the 1950s type of beauty to perfection. Might have to watch more of her movies.

    What a knockout!!

    Isn't he that Superman guy??? I remember I think Unsolved Mysteries did a feature on this guy...you may want to take a look at that SS if you get a chance. I really use to like Unsolved Mysteries as a kid...use to scare the hell out of me.

    I've seen a bunch of short features on the mystery around his death. Also a great movie was "Auto Focus" about the life and death of Bob Crane. Brilliant acting job by Greg Kennear and Willem Dafoe as the sidekick suspected of killing Crane.
