I have used several of the ADW sites for the past 2 years or so and have always liked youbet.com the best, the layout just seemed better and checks came within 5 days. Easy money in easy money out never had a single problem, even bought stock in the company.This weekend my girl ran up to the store to get some smokes so I asked her to pick me up a ******** money pak to deposit in youbet, gave her a hundred dollar bill and told her to get smokes, some beer and $30 ******** just so i could dick around and play a few exacta boxes hoping to get lucky. So anyways she comes back I put in the number $30 shows up in the account I hit a few small races but end up bust by the end of the night and go to sleep. I wake up the next morning and ask my girl where the change was and she informs me she had put it on the moneypak so I look at the receipt and sure enough it was a $60 money pak not $30. So I call them up and explain what happens and the CS rep says there is nothing we can do we don't have access to anything like that. So I ask whatshe means and she says they can't check and to call green dot, this clearly makes no sense that they can't check how much was on the money pak I start to get frustrated as she is oblivious. She just keeps repeating call moneypak.... I tell her I have the receipt the card number etc and that money pak has nothing to do with running their site so how can they help me with an issue at youbet and she has no answer. I say so let me get this right you can't check how much is on a money pak then I can buy a mimimum $20 one and put the code in the deposit section and claim it is for the max $500 and that will be put in my balance because you can't check how much is on it? and she says well that won't get approved, so I say then you CAN tell how much is on it correct? and she just shuts up. So i say what you just get to keep the free $30 because I have a green dot card and know how it works when you put the money in your account you enter the money pak number and the full balance is transferred. She had no good answer. Basically this is peanuts $30 is no big deal it is just the principle and the horrible CS. They can keep the $30. I am not a HUGE horseplayer but am a very consistent one pump several K through a month not all on big time bets but several $6-$25 exotics and $10-50 WPS bets, with all the competivness in ADW's you would think they could hire decent helpful CS or else they will continue to lose loyal decent customers not that I make or break their bottomline.

Topper, did you ask to speak to a supervisor? As soon as you realize you are talking to a dipshit you should demand to speak to supervisor, even if they have to call you back. Eventually they will get rid of the dipshits if they keep causing managers to have to talk to customers.

I'm sorry to hear you having trouble with youbet because I love the place and I know you did previously too. Hope they work it out for you. I know it's not the money so much as the idiocy on their end. Call them back and ask to speak to somebody in charge.

No Jello I was too frustrated to bother, $30 did not seem like it was worthy of anymore of my time and in past experiences I find when there are dumb CS people quite often the managers are just as bad I mean hell they hired the idiots right? Plus why would I want to continue playing with a place that is A. either lying out of their ass or B. actually incapable of keeping tabs on a players money? I did love them and still love the site layout and maybe after some time has passed may even give them another reluctant shot for this simple reason but in the mean time I feel like at the least I rather have them lose at least a few hundred dollars in take that I'd have given to them to their main competitor for the hassel and incompetence.

I understand but if I were you I'd take 5 minutes and shoot them an email at least. Maybe it will make it to somebody with a brain. That way you don't have to worry about the frustration of dealing with someone live. If you are leaving them anyway just let them know that and explain why. You might not hear back for a few days but if you are done there anyway it doesn't matter. If you don't hear back you made the right decision. But I would bet you will hear back in a day or two with a favorable resolution to your issue.

and they are run by total retards

they hire the lowest rungs on the food chain to save money

i shut down my accounts there almost two years ago, i put a shocking amount of money through their platform and they still treat me like a peasant, i was a platinum player

and for the record when this was mentioned I actually attempted to just add the remaining $30 back to my green dot CC which when I did so it said no funds available to add, so the error was on youbet processor and terrible CS don't try to flip it on me, I am glad some people on here try to help and pricks like you just bust peoples balls with a valid complaint

While I certainly appreciate being called a prick by someone of your stature, the point is your complaint is not a valid one. I called a friend who works in the technology area at Youbet, and what you say is simply wrong. First off, it is the customer who enters the amount of the deposit; Youbet sends it to MoneyPak for approval, and if it's approved, it goes into the account. Youbet has no way to verify the balance of the MoneyPak so nobody at Youbet CS could have helped you with that. So basically, you entered $30, Youbet sent that for approval and put $30 in your account. You assumed Youbet should have known $60 was on the card, which is not true. You goofed and tried to blame Youbet, plain and simple.

2) If the lady really did screw up then her supervisor will be able to listen to the call...

3) as far as her being able to give you the $30 would you allow an employee who probably makes $9 an hour the ability to put money into players accounts... you need to talk with a supervisor

What screw up was made? The customer entered $30, which was approved, then he demanded the CS at Youbet find out what happened to $30 he claimed was on the card. Youbet has no access to MoneyPak account balances, so this is Youbet's fault? Had $60 been entered and $30 credited, that would be a Youbet screwup, but that's not what he even claimed.

The other question would seem to be, who would pay $4.95 to deposit $60? You could use Express Funding and deposit $500 for that same fee.

BTW, Youbet takes automated phone wagers only, so there's no live operators.
