Default Will oden be another bill russell ...?

I truly believe he will in 2/4 years ,IF, he stays healthy .
He won't win as many championships as Bill because there's to much parity in the NBA now .
But watch his star start to slowly rise ..he has all of the tools to be the next Shaq/Russell type player .
    Don't bet against this man,fair warning .

He won't even be Nipsy Russell or Jamarcus Russell or Kurt Russell.

Oden will be out of the league in five years. JMO.

Bill Russell revolutionized the game of basketball on the defensive end of the floor. He dominated the game blocking shots, rebounding, and firing the outlet pass for the famed Celtic fastbreak.

He has a lot better chance of being Sam Bowie.

Oden will never amount to a good sized pimple on Bill Russell's ass...

The NBA has yet to see the real ODEN .
Does anyone remember that he took OHIO STATE to the NCAAA CHAMPIONSHIP final game as a freshman ?
And I believe he was still bothered by a broken wrist .
So didn't he enter the NBA at 19 ?
    I believe he did .
So he is a young 7 ft. dominating force, IF, he gets 100% healthy and stays that way !

    And he's a born Hoosier,that will help too !

Oden was never dominated in college, why would one expect him dominate in the pros. Look at Shaq, Ewing, and other big time centers, they all dominated in college. Oden's hype made him go number 1. Durant and Roy together would have been fun to watch.

You sound like someone who didn't follow Oden's career like ABE did ?
Well ,I watched his basketball career since he was a High School freshman .
There is only one reason he hasn't produced like people expected ,serious injuries .
Also, he is very young, with one year of College experience behind him .
    Russell had 4 years of College,so did Chamberlain,and Shack,right ?
You doubters ,seem to be way too hasty to bury the man .
Oden will more than likely have you people on a regular diet of crow sooner or later, maybe this year ?

You obviously are no judge of talent. The guy is a waste of a roster spot. Completely worthless. Put that in your pipe and smoke it when he is out of the NBA in a few years.

I did a few minutes ago...now how did you want that crow ?
I sense through ABESNOSE that you are snowblind .

Greg Oden is a Big Useless Oaf! Oden is perhaps the most overrated waste of a draft pick since Sam Bowie.

the only thing thats noticeable of odens game is he is tall....guy is not overly impressive at all and shows huge signs of having a career plagued with injuries. with that being said, this thread is an absolute crock of s$it

What I find noticeable about him is that even though he is 21 years, he looks about 40.

He'll show flashes of Bill Russell but he's way too injury-prone to have the kind of stellar career that Bill had. I only hope Blake Griffin doesn't go down the same injury road Oden is on...

Wow, I love the future potential for Oden, but saying he could be up there with Russell when he hasn't done shit in the NBA since getting drafted is a major reach

I think he'll be a very good big man in the NBA after he has a couple of years of maturing and learning the game a bit more, but i don't ever see him being up there with all time greats like Russell, and Shaq, nowhere even close to them.
