this is a no brainer, Big Ben is good because he has the best defense in the league every year to keep him in games. If he was on a team with a half ass defense his career record would be under .500. He is good for 1 or 2 plays a game, in between getting sacked 5 times and incomplete pass after imcomplete pass, and that is usually enough after Steelers defense scores or holds the other team to nothing, case and point Vikings game.

Drew hands down, he just takes over games, it doesn't matter who they are playing

The Steelers won those super bowls with defense and smash mouth football not by Big Ben leading the way. He was just asked to manage the game not try and win any of them. Not saying he is the worst quarterback in the league, just saying he gets alot of credit for what the defense and running game have given him over the years. in the 3 playoff games that the steelers played to get to the superbowl in 2005 here are big bens numbers .....49 out of 72 = 68%...680 yards....226 yards per game....7 TDS 1 INT....if that isnt doing it for u for the guys 2nd year in the league, i dont know what to tell u

What has Brees ever won? This guy had some good years and some horrid years in San Diego. Ben is a complete asshole as a person and scrambles around like a f\*g alot but somehow wins. Both have had losing seasons though. And neither are a top 3 QB.

Please don't go by who won Super Bowls -- it is a TEAM game. however the final drive in the last super bowl is one of the all time greats and it was led by Ben. Remember the penalty that had them back at about the 10 with a long way for a 1st down.

Forget super bowls - Ben is a football player - a stud - one of the few today who would thrive in the days before all these pansy protect the fragile qb rules.

Brees is great , but I'll take Ben.

Let me tell you something, big ben had nothing to due with that first SB win
his QB rating was the losest in SB history, he sucked that day, if not for the

their career completion % and QB rating numbers are near identical. They are both the right QB's for their systems I don't think either team would trade for the other.

Brees is one of three best QBs in league and he is still fairly young, so he seems like a no-brainer choice to me.

Now, I totally respect what Ben has done in the clutch, and I actually think he is still underrated a bit because everyone thinks he is just a "system" QB when in fact he is a good passer that could have better stats on a passing team. That said, I think Brees would have put up even better numbers if he was the Steelers QB in the Super Bowl years.
