SBR new member talking
I started working for SBR almost 3 months ago. When I got here, they asked me to improve the perfomance of the old sbrlines web site, and I did. We finally have real live lines, no bulls**t. It is just 3 seconds behind pinnacle. I did that in 2 and a half month, and you wanna know why it took me that long...............because I had to start the Flash application that you see on top of this forum, and it is a bit difficult to work on 2 differents things at the same time.
I apologize for any bugs in the application you see on top that I haven't fixed. I know you understand.
I really wanna thanks to all of you that are posting good comments about what you see. Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.

You say that the lines are on a 3 second delay at Pinny. Does the page also refresh every 30 seconds or so? If this is the case then the lines can be delayed up to 33 seconds.

i think your doing a fine job with the forum bud. i love what you did with the lines feature.
raiders, it's not easy getting this type of program incorperated into this s/w. you should try doing it sometime. it's a true pain in the a** to do that type of work.

Even 30 second delay is basically nothing with lines, this is not wal street where lines/stocks change every 3 seconds or so. A busy game might have 12-15 line changes in a 24hr period
30 Seconds is real time in the sports markets

I don't really want them to comment on how fast they are and I'll tell you why; They don't know.
The product you see at the top of the page could have 3 second times in the lab but not on the web. Its not stable even at 10 seconds right now. Its stable at 30 seconds and Jon and the team believe they can make it stable at much faster speed. But we can't make any claims right now.

You guys have a great product even if it never improves speed wise. It serves its purpose for 95% of your traffic. You guys should never be concerned with catering to the people looking for an instant update.

Tell you what ... let's go double or nothing ... see if you can guess the name of the "person" in MY avatar?
Hint: She liked to drag her ass on my carpet.
Good Luck!
BTW: All of you guys are doing a great job ... nice looking stuff, can't wait to see the final version of SBR Odds ... I'm sure it will be awesome.

30 seconds can be worth thousands.. also in sportsbetting. Lines can change dramatically during that time. Just ask any Mansion vs. Pinnacle scalper... here 1/10th seconds were worth thousands.
