Default New Pinny rule re: Parlays

"The maximum accumulated winnings for parlays in one calendar day is $250,000."

If I remember correctly, there was no daily limit, and any parlay could pay out up to $1m (although the software allowed parlays of up to $10m).

Interesting. I wonder if a big pro was sneaking in round-robins.

They did not change it for the hell of it. Someone hit them hard would be my guess

Gotta be pretty damn sharp to cook up +EV parlays there. Better off signing up all your relatives at SIA and Bodog.

Correct if I'm wrong but why does someone need to work as mod for peanuts if he wins $250,000 a year playing parlays?

    It's 250k a DAY, pavy.

Still, hookers, blow and supercar collections add up pretty quickly. One might be forced to cut down on such essentials with this new rule.

    Matty,

I wonder after you win the $250,000 the first day they cut your limits to $25 and you need to hit a 20 team parlay to win the next $250,000.

I don't think Pinny does that. As far as I know, that rule might only be in place to protect against those wild 15-teamers played by Tsoprano types. I really doubt that anyone is making a living off of Pinny's parlay odds, but what do I know. Justin pro.

yep, their ML prices for parlay is nothing special

if the ML is +190 on their site and if you want to parlay its much less, like +181

All the sharp accounts are limited on parlays already anyway. I had one account lowered to $200. Been like that for years

Squares can have a huge variance on parlays, especially days where all the favorites cover.

I remember 2006-Week 2 where the favorites went 15-1 and every shop got murdered simply from squares.

Wouldn't surprise me. With all the blood on the ground from the chalk yesterday, someone had to catch lightning in a bottle with the right combo.

Pinnacle is fine. The 3M rumor is a load of crap.

Props to whoever can beats Pinnacle for amounts like that in Parlays. They don't include most secondary sports in parlays, and that is where I would think Pinnacle could get hit.

Hard to believe how books adjust the payouts when it comes to parlays. Betphoenix max is 25K (!), and their payouts taper off dramatically, compared to industry standards, after 7 teamers. Heritage max is 100K, but they round off their payouts to a point where it's no longer funny; example for $100 6-teamer: 4.7K at 5 Dimes, 4.5K at Betphoenix, but 4K at Heritage (they do offer unlimited opens, though). By the time of 8-teamers ($100), Betphoenix is cutting it down to 11.9K, 5Dimes pays 17.5K, and Heritage rounds it off to 14K. Most people don't play these type of parlays, but these differences do tell you something about the books.
