I'd slice my throat if I had to watch those two teams play again.

and I am no SEC homer----I am justdone with Big 10 teams playing in the title game.

    Blame Ohio State.

Penn State is terrible and Iowa can't beat anyone convincingly. Iowa will be destroyed by USC in the Rose Bowl. Texas isn't going to lose in a suddenly weak Big XII and either Alabama or Florida will get the SEC bid, which is by far the most overrated conference.

They crushed IOWA STATE at IOWA STATE, 35-3...........a team that actually may be bowl bound after winnng for the first time at Nebraska in over 30 years.

    Uh no

Iowa will be lucky to get in

Media pressure will force BCS to have Florida, Alabama, Texas, USC in title game for ratings

No one gives a rats ass about Iowa

Actually if they do that then there will be no more BCS as the big ten will pull out. The big ten has been a major supporter of the BCS. Politics...will win out.

If Iowa were to run the table, they would be a favorite to play in the title game......by a small margin.

Just a forward warning...do not bet the OSU/Iowa game... This thing has unstable written all over it...

Hawks super lucky, lots of turnovers...Hawks seem to get it done when they absolutely need to.

OSU on the rebound... not as good as previous years... Jim Tressel ultra conservative...

Who knows how that game could end up.

newsflash, fishhead. if florida or bama go undefeated (they will play each other in sec title gm and one will be 13-0 after the game) and texas goes undefeated through the big-12 title gm, then iowa WILL NOT GO TO THE BCS TITLE GAME

it will be fla/bama vs texas

sec and big-12 > the big 10 and the computers and the human polls know this

it has nothing to do with media pressure............the bcs uses computers and the human polls...........the 2 correct teams will be put in there, and if there are 3 undefeated bcs conf title teams then iowa will be the one left out

if texas gets by okie st next sat, its over, they will not lose the rest of the way

If Texas wins out--they will be playing the SEC champ in the title game.

Iowa will be forced to sit out

I am cheering for Iowa, Boise, and TCU to win out---and then Texas and either Alabama/Florida to win out. That way it may cause the BCS to implode.

    I hate the BCS.

only if the SEC champ is UNDEFEATED.

NEVER, i repeat NEVER in the 11 yr history of the BCS has a BCS conf team been jumped by a 1-loss team to play in the BCS title gm, it has NEVER FUKKING happened

if there are only 2 undefeated BCS conf teams by the night of sat, dec 5, and iowa is one of them, then iowa will go.

Why does everyone want college football to be high scoring and possibly a good defensive game?

I disagree. The strength of schedule of the winner of the SEC will be plenty enough to lead them to the national championship whether they have 1 or even 2 losses.

It is generally agreed upon now that the SEC championship will be at least a national semi final for the national championship game from now on. The conference is just too good.

In my opinion, if Alabama and Florida go undefeated and play in the SEC championship, and the game is close, then the same 2 teams should play in the national championship.

Alabama and Florida are the 2 best teams in the nation. It is unfair to make the SEC teams take each other out of the national championship race simply because the conference is so good. Let the best teams play in the BCS championship.

It will shock me if at the end of the season either Iowa or Penn St are in the top 10. They are both horrible and benefit from playing Division 2 teams weekly.

IOWA WAS AN UNDERDOG AT 4-4 MICHIGAN ST THIS PAST WEEK. THEY WON BY 2 POINTS.

not 2 losses but One loss yes , definitely
plus they have proven to make otehr teams look really bad after getting cheating like georgia
that the best team at that time
in the nation didnt even get a chance at the sec title
SEC teams right now are beat up
But when you get more than a month off after the sec game
they go ready to play ,
texas isnt even in the same caliber , until sec loses a game for title game they want be denied a chance at it
usc isnt either Iowa , penn state , should go before the others
if everyone but sec teams have a lost then you can even consider the weaker no loss teams like tcu , cincy not boise state

    1) i disagree, and history is on my side. NEVER in the history of the bcs has an undefeated BCS conf team (acc, big 10, big 12, sec, big east, pac 10) been jumped by a 1 or 2 loss team for a berth in the BCS title gm. look it up.

do you remember 2002 ohio state who kept "winning ugly" that whole yr? well, georgia was 12-1 in the sec and ohio state STILL got the BCS title gm berth:

    http://www.collegefootballpoll.com/2...chive_bcs.html

    2) purely your opinion that fla and bama are the 2 best teams in the nation. i will take texas over bama on a neutral field RIGHT FUKKIN NOW, and maybe even texas over florida, maybe

if you are impressed by bama the last 2 wks, we are watching different gms

The Big 10 has not had a worthy team to play in a BCS game in years. If they pull out, they lose their lucrative Rose Bowl deal. The Big 10 will not say a word about who will play in the BCS title game.
