Default The Blazers have won 6 straight home openers

They'll be playing at home against a depleted Rockets team on opening day. I say jump on the Blazers as soon as the line is released, there should be steam on them.

Of course it's a home game for the Blazers. I hope the Blazers take this game seriously. The team the Rockets will put on the floor will be worse than the Grizzlies', imho. It's easy for a team to put that in the win column and overlook the game.

I liive in the portland area and if local radio and shows are any indication, the blazers should come out agressive for this one. Fans are ready and i see a double digit blazer win.

id pounce on any line up to -11.5

The line will not be double digits, imho. -11.5 would equate to about a -600 ML, no way. The line will be around -7 or -8, imho. The moneyline on this game should be free money.

The lines is out suprisingly... it's -10... so the moneyline should be what -1000. The bookies are ridiculous lol. I posted more about this in another thread NBA Underground...

It's -9 at Looselines and the Blazers are -560 at BetOnline. How did you calculate -1000?

Not sure if Port can win by double digits.... Possible back door.
Don't underestimate Scola/Landry/Brooks. Yes, Hou is w/o Yao and TMac.

Fearless, I believe your on to something here.

Portland is a nice play. Houston will hang with them for three quarters but the depth issue (Yao, T-Mac missing) will catch up to them.

Aldridge just got the new $$$$ contract and he'll get after it in a serious way.

    Best of luck.

Portland is a good bet.... but Im going with Lakers -9,5. Last season they played Clippers in their 2-nd and 4-th game of the season and won both games by 38 and 18 points.
