Default Warning: 15% Bonus at Interwetten is a trap

    Hello everyone,

I am new in this forum, but I used SBR site for longer time for getting informed which bookmakers are worth my money.

I just want to warn all to use the 15th Anniversary 15% 15 Days deposit Bonus at Interwetten. I made a deposit, made a required rollover and got nothing. I send an email asking what's going on and got the following answer:

"This Bonus promotion is for a special category of customers only. Your account isnt in this category."

Well, I asked them why i am not in that category. On the next Day and after 2 other emails I got absolutely the same answer. I emailed them again, asking to explain, what that special category means and I am still waiting for an answer.

Well, the background of this story is that i got bet limits at interwetten after I won some big stakes (about 1000 EUR accumulated). This limits are between 10 and 50 EUR and interwetten asssures they are depending on events, but who believes that?

So think twice if you going to open an account with them.

"Interwetten reserves the right without explanation to exclude certain players from a bonus on deposits."

This is the last line on their bonus rules, which I had a hard time trying to understand ... But this last line seems standard with almost everyone and just about gives them absolute authority ... Why even bother list rules?

Denying the 15% bonus advertised as clear as day on their website seems to be a regular occurance according to what I have read on other forums.

It's funny how bonuses never become an issue until you win with it ... If you don't meet the criteria for receiving it, they shouldn't give it to you in the first place ... Which brings up another question ... How does one go about breaking rules? ... In most caese I'd think their software would either allow you or not allow you to do something.

    kdmfox,

this is not about breaking rules.
Interwetten sent a promotional e-mail with the offer to all its customers.

The e-mail was accompanied by the words "you deserve it!", but for the customers there was no way to find out if they were entitled to the bonus until after they deposited.

A misleading practice to solicit deposits without making any effort to exclude players who are not entitled to receive the bonus.

You never deposit funds without first caling or emailing to make sure you are eligible for the bonus. Fair or not, that is simply the way it is.

no , you get the bonus automatically when you deposit .

if you didn't get it , that means they have restricted you .

From what I've been reading on here, calling or emailing isn't the total answer ... Most of the time you're dealing with someone that has no clue ... And the bottom line still is "Interwetten (or anyone else) reserves the right without explanation to exclude certain players from a bonus on deposits."

Interwetten has a 3% comission for deposits via cc.That means that your bonus goes down to....11.55%, if they allow you of course.

Oh, forgot to mention that the odds that they post are extremely low compared with those 10 days ago.

marc, I agree...I always call the CS dep. to find out all of the restrictions...but even then, these books can be real shady about things...

Interwetten are a joke. But that was nothing new. Don't accept any kind of amount. Never considered them as a serious bookmaker as they got so poor odds.

Books do whatever it takes to screw their customers ... There's probably more bouncing around to different providers than any other industry on the planet ... Use the shops up the top for minimal pain.
