trying to become your go to guy around here JJ so I took time out of the cities day to look into this a little deeper. Rutgers likes to allow oppossing teams plenty of rushing yeards. Army like to run da ball. Rutgers hasn't shown all season they really care about the numbers and are a double digit road fav in this spot. Rutgers also hasn't shown the ability to light up a scoreboard this season and Army tends to control the clock keeping the ball on the ground which limits scoring opportunities. Rutgers may try to keep the ground game going as well. So here's what I'm thinking. Sprinkle a wee bit on Army add a dash to the under and cover the whole thing is a dandy lil teaser with Army and the under. Don't list it on your spreadsheet and have this post eliminated if my suggestion doesn't hit atleast 2 out of 3 parts.

Army has beaten Eastern Michigan (0-6), Ball St. (0-7), and Vanderbilt (2-5 With the two wins coming against a DII school and Rice).
They also lost AT HOME to Tulane (2-4, and with their only other win coming against McNeese St.)
Rutgers may not be world beaters, but they did show me something last week in their loss to Pitt. And Army is absolutely horrible
Not one of my official listed plays, but I did put a small amoutn on Rutgers -10 bought 1/2 point) -120 last night

By that same logic, Rutgers wins are:
- by 8 points at home to a 1-6 Sun Belt team (Florida International)
- Howard (I AA or whatever they are calling it these days)
- Texas Southern (I AA or whatever they are calling it)
- Maryland (2-5, life and death struggle with James Madison)
Losses:
- Crushed by 30+ at home vs Cincy
- Lost by 7 at home vs. Pittsburgh
You are far more impressed by Rutgers body of work than I am...

Their win at Maryland is more impressive than a home win against Vandy for one. Secondly they beat the crap out of the bad teams they played, whereas Army played tight games to them and barely won, or lost.
I don't think Rutgers is very good, nor am I impressed by their body of work. Army is just horrible and this line is too low.
It's funny that last week I told people to take Pitt for all the reasons people want to take Army tonight. Pitt covered but Rutgers showed something in that game. Now people are wanting to take Army for those reasons, when those reasons were put in question after last weeks game.
Army gets blown out tonight big time IMO

Completely disagree with you guys saying rutgers likes to give up the rush yards... Except for Pit...their rush defense has been fine. Sure Army will gain in the area of 200-250 rushing ....maybe... But passing wise unless they break a play 50 yards...
Pit and Cin have outrushed rutgers...the other teams they have played have been shut down.

Kind of agree but I wouldnt buy the point even on the cheap.
Army will be lucky to put up double digits. As 1 poster said it probably is forcing action here. Army as a home dog will no doubt look good for a while. But as the game moves on Rutgers will move the ball and Army will be doing a lot of punting.

emotions are still a big part of a game. if a team is not ready to play, they can be in big trouble. just look at Florida last week, and the eagles.

I played Rutgers first half.....game......over first half........over game....First half Parlay......game Parlay.......
And If I could take Rutgers 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter with the Over in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and the 4th quarter I would.
As a Veteran of the United States Army............I can say...........Army Sucks.
They lose by 30 tonight. It won't be pretty...........It will be a butt pounding.

Disregard entire post. I was at work and posting off memory again. Never a good idea by the way. Just retrieved my notes and if I were to play either side tonight it would be Rutgers according to the work I did earlier in the week. So the post above should read Rutgers, Under and Tease Rutgers and Under. Or better yet since it is such a crap game. Shampoo the ol' shag-top put on the dancin' shoes and hit da club tonight and wait till tomorrow and put what you were gonna waste tonight on Central Michigan tomorrow.

both teams are jekyll and hyde, rutgers has better athletes and can easily swallow up the running gm of army, but if rutgers takes them lightly then army can cover the 10, in other words if youre a good psychologist and can figure out if rutgers will be motivated after the loss at home to pitt last week, then bet the game, otherwise STAY OFF
