yes....this guy is a dream for the NFL. There is not a single player the NFL would love to feature more than this guy.

Brady...the only benefit of Brady over Manning is that Brady is the classic underdog to champion story.

The NFL gets it all. They get the second coming of Montana in Brady, and they get the second coming of Elway in Manning. Now Rex Grossman, is he the second coming of Jim Harbaugh?

Peyton is way more marketable than Montana and brady

Both those guys have zero personality and really not loved nationalyy like Manning is. Manning is in a league by himself with class , respect, morals, ect.

JJGOLD, I was comparing Manning to Elway.

But, I agree that Montana & Brady have zero personality. I see Brady & Montana as similar because they both played for coaches that were basically a decade ahead of the rest of the league. They both had a very solid team around them as well.

I see Manning as being more like Elway in that he had to carry the team for many years, playing for a chump coach (Reeves versus Mora Sr.), losing many heartbreakers in the playoffs to the eventual Super Bowl winner. Plus, I think Elway was much maligned until he won the big one, and Peyton was as well. Finally, neither won the big one without a solid defense, not to mention a very solid offensive line. Both the Colts defense & o-line were key to the playoff run this year, very similar to Elway's two rings.

Slew, I see Grossman & Harbaugh very similar, and I think Grossman will see a very similar career path, because Chicago is plain and simply a meat grinder for QBs for whatever reason. Grossman will play a few more years in Chicago before he gets completely railroaded out of town. He'll catch on for some struggling team, and have new life, maybe making a couple playoff runs with an unlikely supporting cast. At least that's what Harbaugh did. At this point in their respective careers, they are about equal. I'm not sure if any of the other old timers remember how much Harbaugh was hated in Chicago when he was there. I see it as very similar to Grossman at this particular point in time.
