Default Neteller: Can not link foreign bank account

    See email below.

Options left are to move to a foreign country - with legal residence and documents to proove it, or to find someone to start a business that accepts neteller and offers goods that can be easily resold for cash, such as phone cards, gold coins, possibly even **** gift cards.

I wonder if we can email foreign companies selling **** gift cards and ask them to take neteller? Or set up a similiar business ourselves.

    Dear Louis,

Thank you for your enquiry. You will not be able to set up a Canadian bank account because the bank account must correspond with you residence.

In order to set up your NETELLER as non-US member you must first prove that you have legal residence in the Canada.

    Regards,

For a lot of people, dealing with locals is a hassle. I would be paying 10% juice, instead of discounted juice at Matchbook and other books, I would be worrying about getting stiffed, I would have to deal with the local getting busted by the police, which in this community has happened a number of times over the years. Also, I would have to deal with the hassle of meeting my local for exchanging cash. No thanks. For me dealing with locals is nothing I would want to do again, even considering the current offshore climate.

    Nothing like dealing in cash

the days are over where you will be able to move money around offshore, it is actually going to get harder and harder.

I believe so too. Gone are the days of keeping an offshore money transferer (Neteller) flush and having 25 outs to cherry pick the best #. At least for as long as I can see.
