in the past 3 days thegreek has cheated me twice.

1. when you deposit by moneygram, if you send at least $300, they cover the fees. in the past, this is always what i did. last week i only sent $200, however. i was aware that i would be eating the service charge. however, when they put the money in my account, they also took out an extra $10. answering my email, they said it was a "processing fee." i asked them to provide a link to where it says that. they said,

"This information is not stated on the website. Customers are normally
informed via e-mail or telephone about this policy."

i told them i was certainly never called! nor was i sent an email, and if i was, could they send me another copy of the email they sent. they never replied. i was mad, but let it go.


2. last night i made a bet on the Ben Rothwell/Matt Thompson mma fight. rothwell won and 14 hours later, the wager was graded. i go back a few hours later and the match was changed to a void and in place of thompson the name of a guy named Krzysztof Soszynski was on my ticket. this guy was NEVER on my ticket before and he was not scheduled to fight rothwell earlier, nor was he a last minute replacement.


the greek is just totally cheating me. i guess with the reduction in competition, the feel they have a free pass to steal. i guess i will be looking for a new book.

Wow, this is the first time I am reading a complaint about thegreek, like this. I knew they reimbursed for over 300, didn't think they took out their own processing fee.

If #2 is true, that sounds like a real legit beef. Did you save a copy of your original bet?

As far as deposits,ask the terms before you send money. nobody is updating their site for a dollar.Kick in the extra buck and no problem.The good ones don't need to do any favors right now.

i did not save the original receipt. i never have had this problem before. and even if i did, i would have trashed it after they graded it a win originally. but i went back and checked to make sure. at no point was this guy that is now on my ticket EVER been scheduled to face rothwell. he was not a last minute replacement either.

as for asking the terms, as i understood them and they always told me, if you send $300 they cover the fees you pay to send them. never have i been told, or certainly called, as they claimed that there was a ten dollar processing fee.

i emailed them an hour ago about this and again, no reply. when you do not have a complaint, they are always quick to reply.
