I owe a bookie $6000,suggestions?
Alright so here's the situation tell me what you thnik....
One day the owner of my company I work for overheard me talking about sports spreads....the next day he told me he could take some action for me so i did....I won about $600 and he paid me that Friday....the next week he said he places all action through a website called betalphadog.com who has no methods of deposit or withdrawal, supposedly you meet their collector once a week and settle up.....he offered to open me an account with $1000 line of credit per week.....I lost the entire line of credit by Sunday and had to cashout of my conventional sportsbook to pay up.......The withdrwala took longer than expected and he started getting frustrated and threatening me and even fired me (for other reason).....he saw me walking down the street one day and starting cursing me out because he hadnt paid up yet....I fully intended on settling up but he was being such a dick that I decided im not going to pay anything and he said I'll just let my guy handle it he'll call you in a day or two...that guy never called but he contin ues to call me nonstop....he gave my friend $5000 credit which he lost and combined we have paid $250 out of an owed $6000.....my question is a. do i have anything to worry about if i dont pay? and b. how do i stop getting him to harass me....keep in mind the guy owns two businesses in town and has a lot to lose if he takes it anyfurther...any suggestions would be appreciated

after initial pissed off they will simmer...they have been stiffed before if they are anybody

and it sure surprises me he fired you owing that money

Why don't you lure him to a secluded area, hit him over the head with a brick, tie him up, when he wakes up start cursing at him, build a small fire and dance around it like a wild indian, piss on him, taunt him, shit on his leg, bite his ear off, stick him with a hot poker, brand him like a cow, piss on him again, make him eat tuna fish that you had stuck in your ass, then shoot him.
I forgot before you shoot him, give him an enima, wait until he poops. With a rubber glove, paint his face with his own feces like a tribal warrior, then dance around the fire yelling war chants. Then shoot him.
That or just pay up.

Christ, if that is the case just pay up and commit to cutting their lawn for a year as well just to be on good terms.
As a last resort commit to being a drug mule for 6 months.

They basically are a tool for those who want to do their own booking. You have 20 guys who want to bet with you they then allow you to lay off those bets with them. They collect and pay 1 guy from each group. This guy will never see these mofia boys but his agent will, so there is where the problem lies.

I don't know if your story is true or not. This individual refered you. In other words he extended his personal voutcher on you. When you aren't paying your debts these debts reflect on him as well and maybe ultimately he is held responsible for those debts. The bookie cares very little about who owes what all he is concerned with is that he is owed. You lost money you didn't have and now you're considering not paying. You possibly have put this other persons health in jeopardy because you aren't fulfilling your obligation of repaying a debt you owe. If this story is true then it is also true that you are a complete asshole who deserves the beatdown you are due. Legal or not business is business and honor is honor.

First Suggestion: PAY UP. Period .. if it was the opposite you would be flipping out of anger, that you cant collect the money.
