Considering he's the best QB they've had since Jim McMahon.... yes, he's well worth it.

My numbers say he shouldn't have been paid more than 29 million for 2 years.

I think they could have got him for 29.99801

Chicago large market...plenty of ways to make money off him....

They are paying him 50 million for the next 5 years. So 10 million a year for a elite qb is a steal. Most are getting 15 million.

    He is overpaid $3,324,076.58

    no kidding

I guess it's all those playoff games he's won and all the AFC West Division titles.

Probowl/Franchise qb better terminology. He is 26 and been in league for 3 plus years. Probably needs time to be classified as elite but he is top 10.

if you really think that Schaub and Rodgers are not better than Cutler than you must watch a different game than what i watch.

Either way its all objectionable anyways. Any of those qb's can be close to elite if they are put in the right system.

    Talent wise

    Cutler I suppose

But who knows. Orton looks awesome so far this season and Cutler looks just OK but good at times. Nothing special that's for sure.

    romo-undrafted
    schaub- round 3 pick 40
    rodgers-round 1 pick 24
    flacco-round 1 pick 18
    ryan- round 1 pick 3
    cutler- round 1 pick 11
That is where they were drafted.

If all in same draft I would go ryan, cutler, rodgers, flacco, schaub then romo in my opinion

    nice try

I am saying RIGHT NOW. We have seen all them play already. if the NFL just started over tomorrow, you owned a team, you HAD to choose a QB with your next pick and the choice were ...

    romo
    rodgers
    flacco
    ryan
    cutler
    schaub

    Your new Starter would be?

Every game I watch Rodgers is on his back a lot but does look like he has tremendous potential. Schaub is having a great year.

Give me some more information on the team I own. What offense do I run? What skill position players do I have? Who's my coach?

This thread is why the King KNOWS he will win Beat the Prick this year..99% of you guys are completely clueless when it comes to football..

All these guys are pretty much the same.. Except Ryan and P. Manning.. they have Football IQ's these other fukks would kill for..

The Systems, WR's, offensive lines around these guys make them what they are..Guys like Orton cant play in this league without the Marshall's of the world...Guys like Reggie Wayne are MADE by the P. Mannings of the world..

It's a TEAM sport.. dont forget this..

    LOL

    Like talking to a politician!

Cutler would be a good choice. Personally I would take Ryan or Flacco.

this posts fails....you are reaching....cutler is top 10 and is obviously better than romo shaub flacco hasselback warner and palmer

hasselback and warner were better once upon a time but their prime is over

other of these qbs he is at the same level at....maybe a bit better maybe a bit worse including rothliesburger, ryan, rodgers, favre

only brees, peyton, and brady are clearly better at this point but cutler is not at his peak yet

Cutler is worth the money with the media market his team is in. It is money well spent and the team can make 5 times that in revenues produced by keeping continuity going and not worrying about melding another quarterback into their organisation. I would prefer Favre's chances of making the playoff to Cutler's this year.
