I got pretty upset when I read a good book about gambling money management AFTER I was broke.

    Go figure...

Round 2 (er, more realistically, like round 7) when it comes will be a very well-played round!

    What book did you read?

I've gone through some of the previous threads about money management, there's a lot of good stuff in here.

J.R. Miller - Beat the Pro Football Pointspread.

Fairly basic stuff, but VERY useful. Backs everything up with math too, so you actually see why it makes sense.

Money Management is when you can go through a 2-11 streak and still be ahead for the season, have plenty of money in your account, and not have to deposit again..

I'd stay far, far away from J.R. Miller.

I take everything with a grain of salt, so I certainly won't swear by the guy.

    Any reading you'd recommend?

I'd recommend a ton of salt in the case of JR Miller.

Try Fixed Odds Sports Betting: Statistical Forecasting and Risk Management by Jospeh Buchdahl or Sharp Sports Betting by Stanford Wong. Both are must-reads.

Thanks, I'll look into those. What's the problem with JR?
