Just logged into the exchange no problem. Tryed to confirm a bet and I get Access Denied Contact Customer Service. Live Chat says they are no longer acceptting US clients or their action.
Another one bites the dust. And a very good out at that.

Group will only consist of old school pioneer that will be left. I never liked the new age books anyway and were risky. We are better off now.

This sucks guys!![]()
Heres the chat log of the convo I just had with them via there live chat feature:
ME
Do you still allow USA players to play at your establishment?
MANSION David
MANSION
earlier today, The Management Team at Mansion unfortunately had to make the decision to block all US members from placing bets/playing poker on our site, we regret this move however for the immediate future all US members will no longer be able to login to the poker software or play on the Casino or Exchange, You may however still login to your Mansion account by going to the website at Mansion.com, when there you may access the cashier to withdraw your funds by wire transfer
My guess is that they couldn't find any funding options, and thats why they pulled out of the US market.

Newguyintown, Mansion appears to do book-to-book transfers with Matchbook. So, might want to ask Mansion via there live chat feature the status on your wire, and if it has not been processed yet. Then use that method in order to move your funds.

Hulu, they will only offer NBA, NHL and NFL in the future -plus "European" sports, I guess... no more college bb. At least that's what they told me today.

imgv, what did pags call a while back? Did he say that Mansion would stop taking bets from the US? Did he say they would stop offering college bb? Please enlighten me as I am quite puzzled.

slash,
I'd say about 6 months ago I was a little concerned about mansion's business practices (big promotions and all)...about 3.5 months ago, it was clear to me that mansion was in the process of dropping all of it's U.S. customers (dropped their 800 phone line, fax line, live chat became very short with Americans)...at that point I urged all U.S. players to get out of mansion...and then about 1.5 months ago, it became crystal clear what was going on, although many people still thought there was hope...

I am still not sure what you mean? Mansion pays like clockwork (at least through NETeller) unlike 95% of the other books, Mansion still offers all US Sports (except college), limits have been lowered though so Mansion is only good for small bettors.
And not to insult you, but don't think you think it was obvious to the entire world that what was going on at Mansion regarding promotions and lines wouldn't last forever? Like their first year in business where one could scalp middles around the number 3 in NFL and get 30 cent scalps on soccer every weekend. Back then I could also predict that it wouldn't last forever which it didn't.
And it doesn't come as a shocker that they decided to cut off US players - like several of the big books.

slash,
I agree with all that you have said, however, there were a lot of people on here hoping and wishing Mansion would hang on in the U.S...my opinion on what I thought would happen (which ultimately did happen) wasn't very popular here in the forum 6 months or so ago...
